Hands down worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant or any place customer service related! The waitress Allisa M. Had clearly never been properly trained in how to treat a customer nor being a good waiter! She was rude and it seemed almost as if she didn’t want us there we were a group of about 11 people and the service was just horrible our orders were placed and two members of our group were skipped completely. Once they were allowed to order and our food came in we noticed that a different couple in our groups food had not arrived. We began to eat as they waited the waiter was notified and straws were asked for (some were waiting for Milk that they ordered for their pancakes others waiting for milkshakes) the milk was brought to the table and it was warm as if it had been sitting in the back for a couple of minutes. A couple minutes after that the waiter comes and asks one of the two whose items had not arrived if he still wanted his item!?!? Like really he had only ordered one thing and as everyone was eating he had been waiting?!? He let her know that yes he still wanted the item, she did not acknowledge nor assure our other friend that her food was on the way. After waiting for a very long time, so long that everyone had pretty much finished their food she finally brings out our friends food by this team our lady friend was not happy at all and neither were most of us with the attitude and rudeness that our waiter had given us. Our friend asked Alissa (our waiter) if she still had to pay for the food as it was evident that she had not placed the order previously and had been waiting for so long. Alissa answered that she would need to talk to her manager, she leaves and returns a couple minutes later only to state that our friend would have to pay for the food (by this time our friend had started to eat her food as she had been waiting and was hungry) because she had began to eat the food. Our friend asked to speak to the manager and as the waiter was walking away she felt the need to let our friend that no matter what she would have to pay for the food?!?
No manager came we finally went up to a manager and let them know what was going on it turns out that Alissa the waiter never explained to the manager what had happened and only relayed that “a customer wanted their meal for free because it was A BIT LATE..” after letting the manager know what had happened the manager apologized to our friend and let her know that she would be speaking to this employee.
Unfortunately because our friend is so nice she still offered to pay for her food as she wanted to take the meal home and try to enjoy it another day.
This waiter completely ruined our entire night.
Never would an employee of mine ever be allowed to give such horrible customer service!

Me and my dad had the worst experience ever I ordered a salad from our waitress and the busboy brought it out the worse part about salad it was old then I told the waitress and the waitress told me that they just had put that salad out she said would you like me to bring you another one I said not if it old like this, then our food came and my dad's plate everything was cold and hashbrown and bacon were hard as a rock and at the tables you had to find ketchup because the bottles were empty my plate came and I ordered a skillet and it should come out right from the fire and it wasn't even hot and looked like they threw everything on not presentable then the manager brought me my salad after they brought me my skillet salad was an appetizer not part of my meal I ordered to drink water with lemon and it was fine she refilled it and had nothing but ice I asked a young man that was at one of the empty tables he was stocking up on jelly that if I could have a water with lemon and less ice he brings my my same glass cause the last glass I had the lemon at the bottom and I don't know how he took out the ice and put water in the same glass the lemon that I squeezed was at the bottom I told the waitress what happen she brings me a new glass and she asked me to get my old straw who does that!!!!!! Never again going to Denny's in sanger California ever again this has been the worst of the worst experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!! PS it wasn't busy they hardly had customers and all employees counting the manager were putting on a show in the kitchen didn't care one bit about customer service the place was filthy chairs sticky carpet a mess and fans looked like they been cleaned before to bad it was Denny's the biggest...
Read moreI usually love Denny’s, but this is the worst one! Last night I ordered two meals costing around $10 at 8:52 PM. I was told the wait time was approximately 20 minutes so I showed up 40 minutes after I ordered the food just to give them some extra time to prepare it. When I showed up they said they had some items out of stock which was causing a delay in meal prep times so they hadn’t even started it (which they didn’t tell me). I figured I had some extra time on my hands so I didn’t mind waiting but after 20 minutes of waiting in the car I started to get frustrated when no one was in the front to help.
I tried to cancel the order after waiting an hour and 10 minutes for my food but was told I needed to cancel it through the app which I didn’t have, so I called the number at the bottom of the receipt just to receive a busy tone for 15 minutes. I never leave reviews because I’ve worked in dinning settings before so I understand it can become overwhelming and frustrating on nights where you are shorthanded but this is unacceptable and I wish they would’ve provided a little bit more transparency about my order so I could’ve just moved on...
