Sun China is my go-to spot for Chinese food in Sanger! I’ve been here several times for lunch, and their lunch specials are always a great deal. Most recently, I had the orange chicken lunch special—it was fantastic. The chicken was flavorful, the portion was generous, and it came with a delicious soup that hit the spot. Their chow mein is easily one of my favorites anywhere—savory, fresh, and consistently good. Honestly, everything I’ve tried here has been solid. The service is always friendly and efficient, and while the atmosphere is a bit on the simple and old side, it’s clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for great Chinese food with big portions and great value, Sun China is definitely worth checking out!

Hot & Sour soup is my limus test for Chinese restaurants, and the soup here is LEGIT! There's lots of goodies in this bowl (BBQ pork, chicken, tofu, egg, etc) and the flavor is great. Best yet, they actually use fresh jalapeños for the hotness. Perfect blend of taste and the hotness for the two of us. My friend and I destroyed this big bowl (and he ate all his peppers also). Give them a try if you like spicy soup 💪Their special chow mein is also very yummy. The waitress is super friendly. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm back in the area.

Blown away with the taste and quality of the food. I’m basic and order the same thing everywhere and this place has the best pan fried noodles and orange chicken in Central Valley. The walnut shrimp is also chef’s kiss. Compared to other places it’s slightly pricier but the food hits so good i think it’s more than justified.

We are giving this restaurant a 1 star due to costumer service. My family and I walked in after soccer practice to enjoy a family dinner. We were seated quickly which started off great, but it took a very long time to have our order placed. We were about to walk out and leave but decided to give it a try. But as the night went on, I regret staying. The food was good. A 7 out of 10. When it came to pay, my wife and I were questioning our bill, because the price appeared to be too high for what we had ordered. When asked for the ticket they brought the original receipt with prices. My wife and I added up the total with our calculator on our phone and the math was not correct. We were OVER charged by 12.00. When we respectfully brought our concern to the waitress on duty, She immediatly got defensive and immediately blamed the other waitress who had left. My wife and I did not come off as aggressive or upset we just wanted to make sure we were charged appropriately. We even told her, (because she seemed way more upset than we did, mind you we were the ones over charged) we weren't trying to blame her, we just wanted to make sure it was done correctly. We waited for an apology but instead she walked to the back where the kitchen was. She then came back and rang us up at the correct price. That was the end of our dinner. No sorrys, no thank you for coming in, no have a good night as all customer service industries thrive on. The customer and their experiences at their business is ehat makes the buisness thrive and customers coming back. But because of poor customer service we will not be returning. We hope no one else has the same experience my wife and young children had on...

2/15/2025 Update We came tonight, and boy has our minds changed about this place. I'm not sure if they have a new owner or what, but everything was horrible!!! They were busy but only one waitress working the front. There were 3 women standing around up front talking. There was one lady talking loudly about hiring someone, but she kept saying that she needed to talk to Scott first. She said this multiple times, whereas I felt like saying stop talking and just talk to Scott. Later, I realized she was talking about this place. I thought she was a customer because she was drinking a beer. How about you stop worrying about being short staffed later and taking care of the customers you have at the time. Talk about the business end when you aren't so busy and customers are being ignored. There were quite a few tables that had two people there done with their food and were waiting for the bill, including us. One couple had walked in and sat at their table for a long time, and no one ever took their order. The man made a comment about maybe you need to make a phone order to get your food. They left without ordering. I went up front to get a container for our leftovers and stood for a long time before being asked what I needed. Now on to the food. Rice was cold, and noodles were barely warm. There's no reason these should not be hot. We have been coming here for a while, but tonight was our last time. It's not worth the 20-minute drive to get cold food and to be ignored.

Food was good and staff was nice. Great price for large amount of food. 3/6/22 We came back after 4 years and it was still amazing food, great service, fantastic price and lots...

This was the worst experience I have ever had! I'm still upset writing about it to share so no one else experiences the following;wasting your time calling in an order, getting the order completely changed from the lunch menu special just because you asked for pan fried noodles. Who cares to pay extra so long as you get what you want Right? Wrong! Had to take it back as completely incorrect even after she read it back to you. How could you get it wrong & missing items but paid for it. Then called to let them know and then get complete attitude on top of it. Then you get the two items back on order & still get almond chicken chow mein lunch wrong with a chicken chow yuk only. I just said forget it and to top it off when I got home NO PAN FRIED NOODLES & PAID THE EXTRA $ 2.00!! NEVER EVER GOING BACK THIS PLACE...
