Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Santa Ana

So I tried to order at Carl's Jr around 1:15 in the morning as me and my friend decided we shouldn't be driving and we decided to walk. I will not proofread this review as I am steaming mad and I know that was an incorrect way to talk about my friend and I. So he would not come to the drive-thru window and there was a vehicle that ordered at the speaker and he still would not come to the window he would not answer the phone and then he shood us off like we were pedestrians... The fact of the matter was the gentleman was lazy and his name was Tony. He advised in an arrogant way that we were walking through a drive-thru. Both I and my friend really did understand that we were walking through a drive-through more than probably anybody else and we were very hungry. This is why I gave one start to this particular Carl's Jr it is in an industrial area it's busier hours are probably 11:30 to 12:30 during lunch breaks for the employees of the pharmaceutical. But if you're a night owl and you're staying at one of the local hotels go the other way there's lots of 24-hour restaurants on the west side of the 405. Egg sandwiches request Ed no meatFood quality when down hill.... senior discount aren't always honored... labels not clear for special order....order not always correct...when I requested no meat on the egg sandwich they put meat on it the new beyond meat Burger was somewhat tasty it would have been nice to have had the option to have wheat bread and the price is too expensive and the disappointment across the board is that if Carl's jr. Have specials on their burgers and you don't eat meat now that they offer the meatless Burger a customer and should have to only pay maybe a dollar to substitute if there's a special going on and you sureyou should also throw out there and allow the customers to mix and match their burgers and dressing I like the jalapeno and that special sauce or the other spicy sauce I can't remember the name Santa Fe sauce I think and I like the Swiss cheese but your specials are pretty good it's just that the meatless Burger should be a lot less expensive and you should of promoted it a much much better with coupons but the thing is if people like that it would be nice to substitute straight across without any extra charge on a meat Burger...

I started to walk into the Del Taco next door, but changed my mind when I saw that Carl's had a deal on their fish sandwiches....2 or $5.00! I was hoping to try a fish sandwich and one of their burgers, which was also priced at $2.50 each. It would have been the same amount of money...$5.00 for 2. However, I was told it had to be 2 fish or 2 burgers. I went with the fish sandwiches.

The first fish sandwich was tiny and flat as a pancake! Needless to say, I was very disappointed, and wished I had gone with another sandwich. However, the taste was fine, and to my surprise, it had a very fresh green piece of lettuce on it. A nice looking sandwich, but smaller than I had imagined. The second fish sandwich was much bigger! Thank goodness! The fish protruded outside of the bun, as I had hoped the first one would. It was crispy and very fresh! Based on the second fish sandwich, I suppose I would try my luck on another visit, and order it again.

I did like this location. Very clean, and comfortable, with no scary drifters...
