El Gallo Giro — Restaurant in Santa Ana

If I could give 0 stars to this place I would.... They were very rude.... First time there and they messed up my order. I spent more than 40$ there to buy my employees lunch and when I called to let them know they messed up the manager was nice at first and said they will give me discount and I said ok no big deal I will go back again because the food was tasty but then my second visit comes along and I ask for the manager which he gave me the name of Luis and when I get there they tell me there's no manager with the name of Luis and I took back my receipt so they can see when I was there and also show proof. They were very rude and they said just give her 10% and I don't mind the discount but what bothered me was they were laughing at me and looking at me like I'm dumb. The cashiers were whispering among themselves and to be honest idk if they were talking about me. If you have cameras please check your cameras so you really know when your employees are working and doing what they are supposed to and if you don't i will recommend you put cameras on because for what i see the food is really good but if you don't take care of your costumers they will rather go spend their money some other place where they feel welcomed just like me.. This place has two different businesses within the same business and building. There is the Mexican food on the left side with its own menu, cashiers and line for customers. Then there is the bakery on the right side. I went to the sweets and my friend went to get our 3 lb meal ($48 plus tax). I got treats and a drink and grabbed a to go menu which had a coupon for a free gallon drink with any 2lb meal or larger. I took it to my friend who had already paid for the meal. I handed the cashier the coupon and receipt. She said we just gave this to him. I said no, it came from the bakery. She said yes, we just gave it to you. I said no, I had to reach and get it myself, just like you didn't just give him one, no one gave me one. She took off to go talk to someone and came back with the statement it's for your next purchase. I said the first purchase was at the bakery and the second purchase was at the food station. My 16 year old pointed out that the coupon doesn't even say on your next visit. It says with 2lb meal or larger. She just walked away leaving us standing there. I cannot believe that they would treat customers like this over a gallon of flavored water after we had just spent almost $70 there. I...

Went there for dinner ordered Asada tacos, a torta and some caldo de res, it took over 30 minutes to receive our food while we were sitting down in the added area all the way to the right of the restaurant they look like they were closing it down, but we were still sitting there, and nobody bothered to tell us anything until we were about to get our food and start eating. They told us that that section had been closed off due to some sort of a marketing project or something. There is a lady with a yellow dress taking pictures and then they kicked us out basically. like I mentioned it took over 30 minutes to get our food and they could’ve told us that 25 minutes prior because they started cleaning that place out almost as soon as we sat down with our waters the lady who claimed to be the manager, Maribel I believe she said her name was was quite rude when she told us to leave, and then when I asked her for her name, she changed her demeanor completely, and was almost apologetic, but by then it had been too late. We spent almost $70 on food and drinks and it’s not that great. My son’s asada tacos were dry and my caldo de res was not very flavorful.. the best part of this whole dinner was...
