In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Santa Ana

While I do like in-n-out, this facility has a couple of issues. Brand new, it seems either too busy or unable to serve in a timely fashion.

The staff are fantastic to start, and trying to help. But they seem to know there is a problem as they recognize serving is delayed.

We visited at 1:15 pm on Saturday and the drive through was relatively short, with about 10-15 cars total waiting. The left drive-through lane was only able to get 2 cars through in 20 minutes. The right lane was able to get 6-7 cars through in the same time. Additionally there was a significant delay on walk up traffic.

I think the new facility design is actually to blame, while it allows better queueing, the kitchen should have been separated between foot traffic and drive through traffic. It seems the current kitchen can’t keep pace, leading to delays on orders.

That being said, the facility is brand new, looks great, clean, and the tables/property is free of any problems that can plague older locations. The staff is clearly well trained and conscientious about keeping the property clean and I really appreciated that while on my 20-30 minute adventure.

However I have to say this kind of problem plagues MANY in-n-out chains at the current time. They really need to figure out a solution because it impacts my willingness to visit their properties. Their burgers/fries are great, but not good enough to require a 30-45 minute wait in a car, when competitors are getting their food out in 10-15 minutes from...

I just had to write and share my excitement about the burger I had yesterday. It was one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted, and I just have to tell someone about it.

Let me start by saying that the burger was cooked to perfection. The patty was juicy and full of flavor, and the bun was soft and fresh. But it wasn't just the cooking that made this burger so amazing; it was the combination of ingredients.

The burger had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The beef patty was topped with melted cheese, and caramelized onions. But what really set it apart was the special sauce. It was a blend of tangy mustard and sweet ketchup, with just the right amount of spice to give it a little kick.

When I took my first bite, I was blown away by the explosion of flavors in my mouth. The sweet and tangy sauce paired perfectly with the savory beef. The caramelized onions added a touch of sweetness, while the melted cheese held everything together in a perfect harmony.

I have had burgers before, but this one was on another level. It was the kind of burger that you close your eyes and savor every bite, not wanting it to end. It was so good that I can still taste it in my mouth.
