Absolutely terrible school. I will suggest STRONGLY to look into another school. Their financial aid office is filled with extremely rude people who never get anything done. Been trying to fight for my financial aid since September (now is November) and found out I will not be getting it because thereās a cut off date. They said it was my instructors fault for not letting me know which is insane because itās THEIR job. They are financial aid NOT my teacher. Blaming their staff just because theyāre incompetent. This school is filled with staff who are lazy and are terrible with communication. My financial aid advisor couldnāt even tell me I wouldnāt be getting my funding because it was HER mistake (Martha was her name by the way. Do not recommend working with her). She had the associate Dean call me to tell me and not even an apology. I jumped hoop over hoop to get my financial for MONTHS and nothing because she forgot to inform me I will not be getting funded for late starting classes. I wasted a whole semester. DO NOT GO TO SCHOOL HERE. Iām reporting them to financial...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI loved my experience here, from picking up credits in high school all the way to transferring upstate. Don't overlook their incredible financial aid opportunities, especially the FAFSA and others offered specifically by SAC! My brother graduated last year and I was hugely impressed with his entire art department including his professors and the beautifully creative art shows. Also, the career counselors are knowledgeable and always seem encouraging and caring, not to mention the teachers themselves! I had maybe ONE teacher I had trouble with during my entire time at SAC. Ā Ā Ā Read moreYou're far from smart if you don't enrol into anything at Santa Ana College!
It's very much free for all Orange County residences and there are still a lot more options available for those who need financial assistance UNLESS you are from overseas. . .only caveat in that regard.
There's a brand new first-of-its-kind automotive Bachelor's Degree available in the diesel-electric field that is going to be in extreme demand starting pretty much last year!
So if you have any desire to make insane amounts of money š° š¤ šø š š¤. . . The Diesel Electric Transportation Technology (DETT) Program is what I'm currently taking. The professors know their stuff!
Students, however, must ask questions and not be afraid of what their peers might think because I'm not there to study how cool I was or wanted to be in High School and I'm not there to make friends although I certainly do.
I'm here for a future for myself, my kids, and whatever comes after...
