Items from Salinas Cafe that I tried during my 4 weeks as a juror: Angus burger....just don't. Worst burger I ever had, and pretty sure that's not 100% Angus beef, maybe there was some beef in the room when they made it. 1 star at best. Grilled Chicken Sandwich, bland but adequate, 3 stars. Chicken Salad Sandwich from the refrigerator, 3 stars. Hot beef sandwich au jus, 4 stars. Doesn't look like much but it's the heartiest and most tasty thing on their menu. Would have been a philly cheesesteak if the white bread was swapped out with the proper type of philly bread roll. Chef's Salad from the refrigerator. 3 stars. Lemon Drops from Old Towne Bakery, 4 stars Raspberry jam "Sandwiches" from Old Towne Bakery, 4 stars. 8 Potato cheese soup, not bad, 3.5 stars.

I watched a couple people absolutely house breakfast burritos they got here so maybe try that if you want...
