I wanna start this review off by saying that this place was a huge part of my childhood growing up in Santa Barbara. Back in the 90s when Greg owned it I would go to taffy's Pizza for my birthday every year. When you went to taffy's, the atmosphere was A+. The place had this unique vibe to it that you couldn't get anywhere else. The lighting inside of Taffys almost look like you were at someone's house. we went there every year for my birthday. After my teen years, we moved away. When I returned to taffy's after the new ownership had bought the place my first time there I was super disappointed in the overall aesthetics of the place. When you go in there now it looks like there is zero effort to maintain the classic feel that you got from Taffys. There's literally one guy that works there the whole time and he's usually watching something on his phone , instead of actually addressing any of the issues in the place when you went to taffy's pizza you had everything. Great food, great atmosphere and a great game room. If you go on there now all the games are broke. It literally looks like a storage facility it's dirty. It's got cobwebs everywhere . If Casey bought this and just thought it would take care of itself because of his tradition he's greatly wrong. I have never seen him or his wife in the restaurant. I have looked at reviews and I noticed that none of them have answered or addressed. Doesnt surprise me. so I know this might go unnoticed. But I wish taffy was still owned by Greg O'Brien. my daughter just turned 13 and we took her to taffy's to start the tradition over. I thought that things might've changed. But guess what? Same one guy that's there every time that barley understands you. Same broke down video arcade. Same wires hanging through the roof trying to connect to a TV somewhere. I was super disappointed . I don't know if you just invested in this and it started losing money so you lost interest in this Gem but if that's the case, sell it back to the owner who made that place a place that you wanted to be at all the time. it breaks my heart to leave a two star review on a place that was such a huge part of my life. I hope that you get this place together and the next time that I come through, you have made some kind of adjustments to it. Taffys over Rustys...

(First visit, so not very familiar with the place) Looks like a nice restaurant, would probably be good for dinner with family or friends, especially on a weekend. It was pretty empty when I was there about 2 o’clock. Ordered two slices, I thought they were going to be smaller. These things are huge! I’m not extremely impressed, but it wasn’t bad. Just typical pepperoni pizza. The restaurant is very big, 3 different areas for seating, including one outside that looks very nice. They also have an arcade room which was interesting. They have a dedicated parking lot which is great considering the area. The two slices that I ordered took about 10 minutes to prepare, but they weren’t just reheated. I guess they were made fresh and they were certainly very hot. The gentleman at the counter was nice enough, but clearly not familiar with basic customer service (smile, greet the customer, lots of thank yous, more smiling, etc.). It wasn’t a problem, but I find myself going back to places where I am treated well, even if the product isn’t superior to other places where I am not treated well. I wonder if other people feel the same way? If I had two suggestions, it would be for anybody that works at the counter to take an online customer service course and to add some spices to the pizza so that it’s not quite so plain. Again, it’s not a bad place, I recommend that you try it! Great atmosphere, and I’ve only had one item on the menu so the rest of it might be awesome. OK… Just go and see what...

My family and I went on a weekend vacation to Santa Barbara, we had been on the road and were hungry and saw this place was close by and didn’t have bad reviews so we went. Boy were we wrong to go, we saw one empty spot with a chair in the parking lot and was hard to find parking since there was only like 3-4 spaces and the street parking was full. So my sisters and I got out the car while the rest stayed in the car with emergency lights on. We went in were treated terrible and greeted with attitude. We kindly said hello and asked if we could park in that empty spot the man in the front very rudely said no that’s for delivery what did you want to order. We then said we’d take a look but if he knew of any other parking available. He looked at us and raised his voice saying gesturing outside to the street with the spots already FULL “Yeah there’s lots of parking don’t you see the street has parking” and turned his back on us. We had done nothing to be treated that way and simply were unfamiliar with the area and asked a question. So after that encounter my sisters and I just looked at each other and...

RUDE! It all started when I called to place a phone order. The man behind the counter has no manners. I went to pick up our calzones, the price didn't match what is advertised online. (They are on the pizza page, see pic) I let the man know that the price was more. He pointed to their board and said "No for specials it's this much, don't complain!" I said "I'm not complaining I'm just letting you know that your pricing is different online and it's priced with the pizzas" He then proceeded to come at me with a disgusting tone. Over being verbally abused for just trying to help the guy out, I paid and left. Got back to the office and my coworkers calzone wasn't even cooked all the way, the dough was raw. I also looked up the price to see if I was mistaken in price and I was not. I called the guy to tell him I didn't appreciate the way he talked to me, I was right about the price, and our food was undercooked. He told me he was too busy and didn't care! What a joke.

I’ve been searching all around Santa Barbara for wings that come even remotely close to those found in Buffalo. After dozens of duds, Taffy’s finally gave me some quality wings. The wet, hot, and spicy wings got the smell and flavor right. They are also a good size, compared to the tiny wings found at other local pizzerias. Very impressed, will definitely try their famous dry rub next time. The breadsticks are also delicious and such a generous portion. Only issue was that the person on the phone had a hard time answering questions (“are the wings breaded?”)
