Bloom is easily the best brunch place in town. We’e been probably 15 times now and tried probably all the other brunch places in town. The food is awesome, the drinks are great, and the service is great. Even the owners are friendly and everyone is super hard working. This place deserves way higher reviews honestly.
The Croissant French Toast is like crack, their Bacon is way better than a nearby restaurant’s famous “millionaires bacon”, their sweet potato hash is incredible, and their steaks are always cooked exactly as asked and delicious. They even let us substitute our toast for delicious salad. But the real star of the show is those duck fat potatoes. Like seriously people are missing out. It kinda ruins potatoes at all other restaurants and that says a lot because I love potatoes. They are just so flavorful and creamy, writing this review is making me want to go so bad.
They’re also willing to make changes and work with dietary constraints, something that isn’t always a given like you would expect. Parking is super easy and plentiful. Price seems reasonable for the bay area, it is on the higher end of brunch places, but it’s worth it since portions are bigger than other popular places and the food is so much better.
It does get busy prime time on the weekends. I hope they open a second location to ease up on wait times. I’ve heard rumors that might be in the works. If they do I hope they close for different days so we can just always get our fix. It also is acoustically a pretty loud restaurant. I do wish there was just a bit more sound dampening on the ceiling or something. But i’m really reaching for something to improve upon, and the vibe is awesome. You get lots of people together having a good time and it’s going to be loud to some degree no matter what.
Also want to call out the staff one more time. The younger guy at the front desk is always friendly and even remembers our name, the waiters are always great and friendly too, and when we sit at the bar, the guy bartender we always get is super friendly. They all work incredibly hard and it shows.
High recommend checking...
Read moreI wanted to share my group’s experience at Bloom this past Sunday, as it was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
My friend arrived early to put our party of 5 on the waitlist and was told there would be a wait of 1 to 1.5 hours. We were also informed that we would receive a text when our table was ready, and we would have 10 minutes to claim it. When we received the text, we arrived and waited to be seated. One of our friends went up to the front desk to let them know we had received the text. The hostess told her that our table was still being cleaned and pointed inside at some tables that hadn't been cleared yet. He then asked her to wait outside, which we did.
While we were waiting outside, another hostess came out and began setting up a table outdoors. I approached her and told her we didn't want to sit outside. She responded abruptly, saying we had asked for the "first available table" (which my friend never said when she put us on the list). Her tone was rude, and the exchange was uncomfortable.
After being told multiple times to wait outside for the next available table inside, we began to notice that other groups who had arrived after us were seated before us. Frustrated, one of my friends went inside to speak with someone who appeared to be a manager. He began yelling at her, saying we had been “pestering his wife” for the last 30 minutes and that we had two options: “wait quietly or leave.” His response was completely unprofessional, and it was upsetting for us to be treated in such a way.
At no point were we disruptive or rude; we were simply trying to get clarity on when our table will be ready. We eventually decided to leave, as the way we were treated was unacceptable.
While I understand that the restaurant may have been busy, the level of disrespect and unprofessional behavior from both the hostess and the so-called manager was beyond disappointing. As paying customers, we expect basic courtesy and professionalism, especially in a service-oriented...

TL:DR service has been deteriorating and a reservation system needs to be implemented. Would also recommend fixing the acoustics (it’s not that hard) as it really loud and hard to have a conversation as the noise bounces around inside. The food is still good.
Been here several times, but the service has been quite terrible and on the decline. Tried to visit for brunch about 1.5 hours before closing and was rejected according to the hostess, who says there were “80 people on the waitlist” - there definitely was not... If I recall correctly, the bar has open seating (this is universal for bars) which I pointed out to the hostess (bad attitude, didn’t grab her name), who completely ignored me and refused to inquire more. Have also tried to contact via phone to get a hold of someone with no success, as it continually kept ringing for 3min and goes to Verizon Wireless VM. This place needs to have a proper reservation system to make the dining experience better.
At least the food and drinks are still good.

It's a very new place...Great breakfast/brunch place for the weekend with good prices and quality food. Parking is ample in the shopping center.
Service and ambiance are excellent. Reza the owner is very engaged with the restaurant and patrons, which is nice. Bartenders are great and accommodating of various drinks.
The food and ingredients are fresh. I got the carbonara which is really good. Unfortunately I have to remove 1 star for it (4/5) since it goes against the tradition...it's very creamy (and garlicky) with added arugula. Nonetheless give the dish a try.
My friend had the chicken pesto sandwich, which was excellent and the bread and sauces were on par.
Ambience: 4/5 (can be a little noisy, esp. on weekends) Service: 5/5 Food/Quality: 5/5 Value: 5/5
I recommend and would come...
