I called to place an order for my husband to pick up on his way home from work. The guy who answered phone did not seem to happy. I almost didnt ask for extra salad dressing because he seemed annoyed. I brushed it off until my husband got home with our order and he was very upset. He told me he will never patronize that Togos again. He had to wait outside cause only 2 ppl at a time allowed inside. Understandable. But when he finally was able to go in and get our order the guy was rude to him. Asked him 4 times to repeat his name, edward is not a hard name to understand.my husband then told him what the order was and the guy understood that well enough and our order was sitting there waiting. The guy shoved my husbands change in his hand like my husband did something wrong. We live one block from togos and our hot pastrami sandwiches were cold and our Asian chicken salads were not full. I understand things are not the same right now but at least after waiting outside we can be greeted with a smile and get what we paid for... The person in line behind my husband was not to happy either. We will never go back to togos even if its my favorite... And this was not the first time the same guy was rude and...
Read moreRead moreThe male employee making my sandwich was great- he was very nice and made a good quality sandwich. The female employee (manager) who had started closing down 30 minutes prior to closing time had already put some ingredients away such as.the au jus dip and pastrami. My boyfriend wanted a pastrami sub and he almost didn't get what he wanted, but the employee making subs was super nice and was able to get out some fresh pastrami to make him the sandwich he wanted. I still was unable to get the au jus dipping sauce, so not happy about that. I'm guessing it takes more than just unwrapping to make the au jus ready to serve in a reasonable amount of time. Unhappy with the other employee who had put away the food too early. I am hoping she doesn't do this often which would cause your company to lose business. This makes me hesitant from going to ToGos in the future, especially if they aren't going to have ingredients to make the types of subs...
I was disappointed in this visit of Togo's. It used to be that's the family size was $2 less than the cost of two larges and a small. The family size now cost more than two largest in a small it is the price of 4 Smalls so it is cheaper to buy to larches and a regular sandwich which is the size of a family-size. The bread was stale not you know hard on the outside like french bread is supposed to be and soft on the inside but literally stale and dry the bread. The produce in the insides are fine but the quality of the bread was a real disappointment. I used to say that Togo's was so much better than subways. I can't say that anymore.
I get so frustrated every time; I would like to teach Togo's people how to do a butcher shop fold with their papers. Togo's never teaches people how to fold a family size sandwich and I can do it in 30 seconds what takes them 5 minutes and I would not have all of the produce that they put in...
