Tonight I had the absolute worst customer service experience of my life. My wife and I stopped in around 8:45 p.m. It was very slow - only one other person in line ahead of us. We ordered four tacos, a drink, and churro bites. As we were getting our beverage from the fountain/machine, one of the employees who we now know as Braden, walked past us and said to another employee “I’m gonna go take a piss.” Ignoring that, we continue to get our drink and leave. After driving away, we realized the churro bites were not in the bag. So, back we went. I went in, let them know, and they gave me the churro bites. Off we went. Got a lot further down the street this time, opened up the churro bites just to look and noticed that there was no sugar on them...they were just bread. Super annoyed, we drove back. Now is where it gets good! We both walked in and stepped up to the register. We explained to an employee how we were very frustrated that we had to come back twice now to get the meal we paid for. Also, the soda machine was broken and our drink was disgusting. The employee helping us was polite enough and apologized. We told him we wished to be reimbursed for the churros and beverage. Immediately upon stating this, an employee named Braden walks up and joins in on the conversation and very aggressively says “You know you guys don’t need to come in here and be rude!” I said “We are absolutely not being rude - we have had to drive back here two times to get our order. We have been nothing but polite and are just expressing our frustration.” He made another snide remark, and continued to interfere. I found this extra interesting because he was clearly new...had to ask for help multiple times while working. He had a lot of guts for someone who just started working there! Since he continued being rude to us, my wife responded at one point and told him that she had worked in customer service for 6+ years, I myself for much longer , and we would have never spoken to a customer the way he was. He then proceeded to state “I could care less, and I don’t care what you do I don’t care one bit if I get fired!” I then told the other employee we would now like a full refund due to this horrendous experience of customer service. The other employee apologized and obliged. We left our phone number for the owner and you better believe he will be hearing about this. I’m fairly confident Braden will get his wish and be...

Would I go here again in the near future? No
Explanation: First and for most yes there was spit in the food. Not intentional, it was a remark of "tbtbtbtb" followed by some spit that didn't just get on my food, but the food that was in the containers uncovered.
The food was tasteless. We had the chicken burrito, pinto beans, w/brown rice, and the asada wet burrito, black beans, w/brown rice. The chicken burrito had no flavor at all. The asada burrito looked like ground beef from Walmart, tasted like pork, and had a very tough gamy consistency. Not what I expect from a Chronic Tacos.
All the beverages had something wrong with them. For example, most tasted watered down, some like straight carbonation, others had flavors added to them when you didn't want them. The bathrooms were not very clean, and upon telling the 2 young ladies about a problem they just said "thanks" and continued on with their convo.
Upon nobody ordering food, one of them would sit ON the counter with her phone out doing whatever she thought was more important than work. Not very professional.
I was not at all satisfied in the least with this Chronic Tacos. I used to love going here but after today I'll go elsewhere. I love Chronic Tacos as a whole however this one is...
Read moreWe've ordered Chronic Tacos a number of times. We generally think the food is good but quality control is a bit of an issue. Numerous times the order has been incorrect and/or packaged in kind of a haphazard manner delivering us a mess before we even get to taste it.
As a vegetarian, I was disappointed when they dropped their Impossible Meat option. I still wanted to try them though. As we don't live close we relay on delivery services. Unfortunately their menu on the delivery service doesn't display the correct options for some of their items and a couple of times we've been brought food without all the listed ingredients. (aka a burrito that lists beans as one of it's primary ingredients coming without beans.)
I got in touch with the store owner or manager about this and he suggested that I contact the corporate office directly to see if they can fix the menu. So we now live in a world where a business owner wants his customers to fix problems for them. As I'm not an employee of the restaurant I'm going to pass on this opportunity to do this work for them.
Bummer as I really like their product when it's correct...
