Grill Kabob — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

Ordered the Dinner for 6 expecting to have leftovers since there were only 3-1/2 of us. After we all had made a plate, there was a single piece of chicken left.

Food = Good. Quality = Good. Quantity Advertised = Very Bad.

This Meal for 6 has left us still hungry and Not wanting to pull something out of the fridge or freezer, never mind going out in this horrifically dangerous weather. Guess we will go to bed hungry tonight. Sadly many people in the SCV, and for that matter, in the world do it everyday. Maybe I'll take half a bite of the 3 small pieces of very dry Baklava that was sent with the order. Funny, I used to go here years ago, when I lived in Circle J Ranch and I do Not remember being hungry after a meal here. It was Not the case tonight. Do Order the Dinner for 6, if there are 2 or 3 of you. Otherwise pass and try another spot. Sam's has been Very Good lately. Especially the one on Soledad. Mike and his crew will NOT disappoint. Good Luck and hopefully take the criticism constructively. It's Not the end of the world! I actually may swing by and enjoy a meal for myself and perhaps add an additional Star or 3. Redemption is Always Possible with Me!

Uninspiring but not bad. I get the feeling at one time this place was better. It made the local/community papers but you can tell both are pretty old articles. It's been around a while and survived Covid so there must be something to it. I just didn't feel anything special. Wife had the #5 combo plate. I had the beef #2, the Luleh kabob plate. And, maybe that wasn't the best choice to start with but I'd never had it and that's what I like to do. Push my pallet. It wasn't flavorless. Just wasn't extremely flavorful either. The cucumber salad was fresh and bright. Dolma tasted ok but again, nothing to write home about. I got a side of hummus and another side of eggplant dip. Same story. Fine, edible but not something that is going to being me back in. However, I will go back. I'd like to try the shawarma. Local business and I don't feel great leaving a less than stellar review but, it needed to be better in nearly every realm. The reason for the review is to recognize the outstanding service. The food was good. The chicken and rice were very tasty. But what impressed me was the customer service I received. We had ordered for pick up. When we got home, we realized that one of the plates we ordered was missing. I called the restaurant and upon checking the woman realized that they did not give us one of the plates I ordered. I said I would be by shortly to pick up. But she instead insisted that she would deliver the food. She did not have to do this, but I was so impressed that she was truly apologetic and offered to go above and beyond. She was at our house within 15 minutes. The food was hot and freshly prepared. I appreciate great customer service and we will definitely be back. They truly care about...
