My favorite Chinese restaurant in Santa Clarita. Golden Wok Restaurant is a small family-owned restaurant with great food and service.
Located in an unassuming strip mall with plenty of free parking in the heart of Santa Clarita delivery. Takeout, delivery and dine-in options are available.
The barbeque pork is lean, tender and marinated to perfection. Five stars. The noodles are firm, flavorful and fresh. Five stars. My friend loves the walnut shrimp combo plate. Five stars.
The fried rice features fluffy eggs, firm peas, wok-tossed crispy rice and an umami flavor that would even make Ucle Roger proud. Five stars.
My favorite dish here is the combination wonton soup. This soup is filled with handmade meaty dumplings, char sui, tender white meat chicken, and plump shrimp. The savory broth is my favorite part of the soup here and if the recipe is not a well guarded family secret, it should be! (Five million stars.)
Google maps, friends and fellow world travelers, let's learn to say "hello" in a few different languages together. I find that saying hello in another country or language has earned me the best smile in return. I got a big smile from the lovely owner for saying hello in Mandarin: "Nee how!" (äœ ć„œ NÄ© hĂŁo)
The family at Golden Wok gave me a complimentary lesson in Mandarin language to go with my homemade wonton soup when I was feeling under the weather and the combination made me feel better.
I cannot say enough good things about this humble restaurant. Definitely give it a try!
I'll be back. Many thanks to Golden Wok for the great food and...

The good: The food was good. I ate the jalapeño chicken and chow mein.
The bad: chicken portion. Actual chicken was only about 3 ounces. (I have been meal prepping for years so itâs easy for me to estimate chicken by weight). It had more onions than chicken.
The ugly: customer service. Iâll never be back. I specifically said âteriyaki, with noodles onlyâ. (My friend confirmed to me thatâs what I said). Immediately after ordering I noticed a handwritten side menu. So I told the lady âif itâs not too late, can you please change it to jalapeño chicken?â She seemed a little annoyed. This was literally about 30 seconds after I ordered and after I said âif they havenât started it yetâ. She confirmed that I wanted white rice only. I said âno, noodles only.â She countered with âyou said rice onlyâ. That was that. (Iâm pretty sure the rice was already made in a large batch so why would this even be an issue for her?) When my food was ready she started scolding me something along the lines of âyou said rice only⊠next time make sure what you say. Sometimes we think something and say something different.â She was adamant about it. Hellbent on being right and scolding me.
I never ever order rice only when thereâs the option for noodles. (Noodles are life!) So I know what I said. She was talking down to me like if I was a child.
Good food but not worth the attitude and scolding you might get....

She should ask anything else u like but no. Then I got my food and start eating and she start talking very loud in chines to the people who are working in the kitchen. U can here loud conversation. I wanted to ask her just shut up and let me eat. I ask for plastic knife but they don't have it. I ask for glass of water and she gave me one and i ask for straw and she said we don't have it. I am not going there at all. Who knows what kind of conditions in the kitchen because its not franchise. Its better to go to franchise restaurant at least there rep check on them every month. I respect all languages but when u run a business and u start speaking very very loud your language which no one understand will disturb everyone. If u want to speak then speak but make sure it does not disturb...
