Panda Express — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

We don't eat a lot from Panda Express as there are plenty of other Chinese Food options out there with better food and more vegetarian options. But when they introduced "Beyond Orange Chicken" to the menu we figured they were talking directly to us so we gave it a try through one of the delivery apps.

What we got was okay. My son and I each got an order of the Beyond Orange Chicken...both were overcooked...but differently so. Mine was REALLY over cooked so the Beyond "Meat" was really tough and hard to eat. His was just a little overcooked so was more tolerable but still not exactly right.

Bummer! If you're going to cater to vegetarians, especially with faux-meat options, you really need to know how to cook the product...the flavor was good but the overcooked texture ruined it.

I also had regular fried rice which was okay though not super flavorful.

Kudos Panda Express for the vegetarian option...I hope more come a long, and I hope your staff can be properly trained on how to cook it as...

To be honest this place was pretty good before for a long time until recently year I believe they changed a new manager which is pretty not friendly with the kids. Also there’s one server is a young 20ish guy always in the store and he is really not respectful with his playing attitude. You can feel he is not really care about whatever he says. He is not helpful and he is not talking polite. I have no idea why this place will be have this kind of server all the time. It’s really need to be trained better or at least have a good manager on set. Also, they will not even have available menu on one hour before it close like probably the available menu is only 3-4 maximum. Anything else will need to wait a 10...

I asked my dad to pick up some food for us . I send him the image with the coupon that I received in the mail which was NOT reusable , it had a code to scan. The employee Brenda refused to take it bc she was not able to scan it, even though the picture was crystal clear ! It was a flawless picture taken from Iphone 14. She needed the coupon be physically in the store which is not right. Long story short. I will never walk in into that location again. Brenda spoiled my and my dad’s day being so unprofessional and rude…. And she was like : “I’m telling you … like in the hood….” ...
