I wasn’t even in the mood for fast food—just wanted something quick and reliable. I walked into Burger King expecting “meh” and walked out rethinking everything I knew about burgers.
That Bacon Melt Double Patty Burger for $4.99? Spiritual awakening. Double patty, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, mayo, ketchup—every bite hit like a choir of flavor angels in my mouth.
Customizing it on their touchscreen? Effortless. I felt like a sleep-deprived burger scientist building a masterpiece. Even with the lunch crowd, the vibe was chill, and the wait was short. And then… BOOM. First bite? Life. Changed.
And yes, the water was absurdly good. Ice cold. Crisp. Like it had been blessed by mountain monks. I half expected a wise old trout to rise from the cup and hand me a prophecy.

More of a convince thing, since I started working across the street and Lunch breaks aren't that long. The cashiers know me, not by name but by face. And when I had went there the other day the drive-thru person forgot my cheesecake and I had to return to the window. Read moreThey have been short staffed for quit a while and at 730 pm I was there with the my son and nephew with a note on the door stating we would have to go through the drive service because they again were short staffed as usual. We had walked over to the drive-thru window because we walked to Burger King. We were rudely turned away by Kathleen the drive thru attendant because we had no vehicle.
