Tomboy — Local services in Santa Cruz

This is a fun place to drive by and check out their window display. In fact, I need to be careful that I don’t go too slow and have somebody hit my car while checking out their pretty stuff in their window.

So, I decided to go inside and check out what they have these days. There’s a lot of eye candy in their shop. Besides new items, they also have gently used. What they have to offer doesn’t look like it comes from a box store.

They have clothing for men and women.

There’s a nice selection of cowboy and cowgirl boots. The store has a southwestern feel to it. Besides clothing, they have bolos and earrings too. I love their soft, fringed leather bags. I talked with the owner, who was very friendly. She has had the store for over a decade.

Tomboy is locally owned, one of a kind store with so many special finds. I took my friends there and one friend was visiting from San Francisco and another friend from Portland, they both fell in love with the store and bought one of a kind items. I love this place for it's cozy cowgirl meets vintage vibes. If you wanna shop for something extra extra like Frye boots, or vintage styles this is the place. Bonus, they have a sign up for their newsletter which will alert you to special events such as their tiny concerts called Tom Boy sessions which will blow your mind!
