A friend recommended this place and always raved about the food so I decided to try it with my partner. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw and I was given a normal chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato instead. I ordered it for takeout and didn’t notice the mistake until I got home. The sandwich itself wasn’t that great and didn’t have much flavor. The fried chicken part of the sandwich didn’t taste seasoned at all. The best thing on the sandwich was the brioche bun which I’m not sure they make but if so then points on that. I also decided to try some fries and mac n cheese. The fries were extremely salty even after brushing some of it off. Don’t get me wrong I love fries that are salty but this was excessive. The mac n cheese was pretty mediocre and didn’t even really taste cheesy. My partner got a spicy chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato and thought it wasn’t very noteworthy either. Also, yes, we made the distinction to say to make both sandwiches spicy/hot and one with coleslaw and one with lettuce and tomato.
I was pretty disappointed with the experience because I really wanted to like the food. The coleslaw and spicy chicken might have added a bit more to the sandwich I had but it’s unfortunate that I...

But, since we're here, let me rave about each item I ordered individually. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sando (on GF bun) was absolute fire. I like heat, and this was right where I wanted it. I went with the Sriracha mayo instead of the ghost pepper mayo, so feel free to go nuts if you're feeling it.
We got our sandwiches with the coleslaw and pickles, and I have zero regrets.
We also ordered as many sides as we could - the mashed potatoes were awesome (gluten free gravy), the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious (gluten free noods), and I'm not much of a potato salad guy but I'm told it was also legit (if you are okay with horseradish).
Now, just to show I'm not a bot or a paid reviewer, I'll say the coleslaw as a side dish was just okay. Fine. Not bad, but not a star. It was great on the sandwich, but an easy pass as a side dish (for me).
All in all, incredible. As someone with celiac disease I am always a little anxious when dining out - but this place crushed it. They were knowledgeable and I felt totally safe. 50 stars....

The dining situation can be a bit funky at times as they share the space with a couple of other businesses, but usually everyone is super nice, and the atmosphere is great. They do offer takeout if you want to take it home, to the beach, or anywhere else!
Aside from their original or spicy chicken sandwiches, which are locally known (and for good reason), they offer chicken tenders, sides like mashed potatoes and gravy, french fries, mac and cheese, and more.
This restaurant offers gluten-free options and takes the proper precautions in doing so to prevent cross-contamination. However, I would suggest talking to staff about the measures they take, as they will happily explain them, which will help guests feel at ease eating there. They do offer vegetarian options, but they are made in shared fryers if that is an issue (but everything in those fryers IS gluten free).
From good food to great staff, this is one of the places that make Santa...
