First visit as a local and white family . Front register girl right away very rude to us and we felt it was definitely discrimination against us as a white family as we were nice and polite but she was outward expressing hate. She was very .insulting, rolled her eyes and looked us up and down as trash even though nicely professional dressed and very polite to her. She seemed to find amusement at laughing at us. Food mediocre not authentic, not hot . They pile old lettuce on your food to make it look like a lot and put maybe one small spoon of rice on the plate same with beans. Very cheaply poorly made. Restaurant not clean and no one cleaning . Bad smell of old clorox on everything. Table sticky dirty and noticed hot sauce bottles filthy and no caps ! I saw her rudeness to others as well and noted she was rude to a sweet Asian family with pure hate on her face. One star.. Will never return.. Take your restaurant dollars somewhere else that appreciates your business and makes decent food and treats you with respect no matter what race you are. Awful. Before you bash us for staying we have blood sugar issues and were starving were stuck in traffic...
Read moreAs context: I come from Texas, and at home I am spoiled for choice for Tex-Mex and Mexican food in general. This place is bad. To start, walking in it looked kind of dirty- there were crumbs on some of the tables, some seats were cut open and things just generally looked like they needed repair or cleaning. The bathrooms were very dirty. On the positive side, service was fine, no issues. I ordered a Regular Burrito with chicken. The chicken stank strangely, looked fatty and had spots of dark meat. The rice was fine. For some reason it comes with pinto beans rather than refried beans (it doesn't specify what type on the menu, it just says "beans"). I didn't personally order this (someone else did) but it looked like the "salsa" in the burrito was just pico de gallo. The burrito was at least hot when it came out. There were chips which were just ok- under salted (maybe even no salt) but with a good crunch. I also ordered a horchata but it just tastes like watered down sugary milk with some vanilla? IAvoid this place (unless every other Mexican place in California...
Read moreMy wife called and asked if i wanted anything from the taqueria? I said yes I'll take two super chicken tacos. When she returned home, I opened up the container and noticed a tray full of lettuce. I looked back into the bag to get the tacos but there were no tacos in the bag. At first I thought they forgot to give us the tacos. Then I realized after moving all that salad aside they only gave me one taco not two like I ordered and it was smothered in lettuce and a tomato. There was barely 2.5 oz of meat. No way was this a super chicken taco. They had a little sour cream, on it no cheese! It was the worst Taco I have ever had. Next time I want a salad Taco I know where to go. FYI not worth the price and certainly the food is not that great! This was the first time and the last time I'll ever visit this place. So far the best taqueria in this area would be El chimichanga in Scotts valley off of Mount Hermon road. Hands down the best...
