Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Santa Maria

My complaint is for the flapjack fundraiser Applebees does. We have been doing the flapjack fundraiser for almost 8 years through put church. It's been the past few years ran by a gentleman named John. He was so sweet and kind. He has since moved on to another restaurant. Now there is another manager doing the flapjacks. Such a change. First off John has always told us it was all you can eat. Well about 30 minutes into the fundraiser one of the manager "runners" came up to me and said people are only allowed 2 pancakes, 1 scoop of eggs, 1 scoop potatoes and 2 sausage links and no second time through. I informed her that that was NEVER mentioned on the all the conversation and wasnt put in writing either and how in the past is was all you could eat. She shrugged her shoulders and walked away! The "runner" continued to badger guest and tell them only one trip. People where really upset. We never saw the actual manager she was hiding in the office the whole time and had the "runner" do her dirty work. I even told them we wont be returning to do another fundraiser after we have been doing them for many year. She didnt seem to care. She hovered around us the whole time while serving people. At 930 she came up to me and asked if anymore people where coming to eat. Really? People come in all the time how would I have an exact count?! She then in turn said we just need to make sure we have enough food. Then at 950am my son went to get two to go plates to take to people who bought them. We wanted to make sure it was warm. And the "runner" wouldn't let me child get butter or syrup and told him "shop is closed"! Ridiculous! I have never been so disrespected. I would never suggest them for a fundraiser again. AND THE "RUNNER" PICKED A PANCAKE OFF THE GROUND AND PUT IT BACK IN WITH THE OTHER PANCAKES TO...

The place started with really horrible costumer service with me and 6 others arriving at 9:20pm and they finally give me me a table 10:23pm, later on while seated aswell another half hour wait to just get us our drinks. We decided to sing songs while the wait the song "if your happy and you know it clap your hands" was for some reason really disrespectful, so our waitress was switched with an other waitress and this lady didnt brings our food 11:10. Which that by itself is really bad waiting to eat at restaurant for 2 hours. Then when receiveing the main dish I had a shrimp fajitas and the smell of the shrimp was honestly nasty to the point where other costmers said the shrimp was bad, of course I asked for a replacement and the waitress very rude asked why and what happend and leaving with a really bad taste of smell. Then the manager with all do respect comes with the plate and acted like she was not doing anything wrong, not even a sincere apology or anything, that there is bad food handling I couldve gotten sick and maybe even gotten an illness to eat such dish. Then we didn't feel welcomed so I asked for the manager to change us waitress and the manger comes and tell me you guys are the ones being rude to the first waitress and right away got disrespectful with me by saying that she has no one else to help so we had to stay with the same waitress, as the manger she didn't do anything to solve the problem, this made me feel very uncomfortable by the costumer service and food handling starting with the manger Lisa. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD IN MY LIFE WITH NOTHING BUT A BAD EXPERIENCE DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING IF YOUR A BIG GROUP OR ATT ALL., This should just be considered as a complaint not much...

If I could leave a 0 star I would . I love Applebees ever since I was a kid, I usually have a good experience here. Today however was so dishearting I came to dinner with my boyfriend and we ordered Two appetizers two full entrees and an additional appetizers the hose was nice and our server was great. I got full early and had maybe ate one half of the two riblettes that’s were on my plate . We paid and left within the next three minutes I realized I left my to go container on the table and ran back for it when I came back I was waiting some time before anyone approached me and then I explained the situation I hadn’t even asked for anything except for someone to check if my left overs were still there, it went through two different people one person said he’d look and what did I order then second one was our server and he asked what I had ordered and then said he’ll get me another right away if I wanted to wait I said sure. Then an older white gentlemen came out and told me it was my fault and that once we leave it’s all trash and that it was my fault and was incredible rude I was taken aback and slightly upset bc I hadn’t even said I would’ve have paid for the new order once I mentioned that he changed his tone so quick and kept trying to offer a discount but I was so taken aback by how rude he was and how he was so quick to take back what he other worker had said it was just an...
