So first off I want to say that in the beginning everything was great. They had the car I was looking for in my favorite color. I spoke with Marco (salesmen) and he did a great job of communicating and talking real big by stating he would even bring the car to me that I was looking into purchasing. This was exciting because we lived 180 miles away and I told him that my wife and I have excellent credit so this will not be a problem. The only issue was our trade had negative equity. But once again Marco assured me everything would be great with no worries. So with that my wife and I let them run our credit and punch numbers. Marco saw how good our credit was and said everything is good just trying to make sure they can give top dollar for the trade in. Marco gave us exact payment details of what we would be looking like. At this point it looks like we should have a deal. Then all of a sudden things shifted where now they can't bring the car over to me, they want me to drive to them (which is not a problem) but they mentioned that the kind of car I have tells them that I was a shady person (not exact words, paraphrase). I couldn't believe this considering how good everything was at first. Then it got worse when out of no where right when my wife and I was going to drive down there since they thought I was lying I guess, we get a call from their financial manager. He tells me very rudely the new numbers that were totally different than Marco's numbers. It was more expensive with a higher APR and I said this is not what Marco told us, and he said Marco didn't run numbers. So I replied, Marco straight up lied then??? He said I don't know why he told you that and said this is the deal with no other options. I hung up with him and was devastated. Then 2 days later, YES 2 DAYS LATER Marco texts me saying that the financial manager who called was not the guy he was working with and the guy he was waiting for is now available if we still want to do it. Now at this point with this kind of treatment we can all tell who is the real shady one? By this time we have looked elsewhere. So I tell him thank you but take us off your marketing team please. Then a week later in the mail we get the statements from the credit reporting agency in the mail stating that they were putting in a whole different total amount than what the car was worth. THESE PEOPLE ARE SHADY AND I AM TELLING YOU UNLESS YOU ARE THERE IN PERSON DO NOT WORK WITH THEM...

They were great at selling me my 2013 Honda Accord, but when I went to get it serviced They didn't even filled up the windshield washer fluid, so next time I went I told them to please fill it up since I was paying for it, the guy agreet to make sure it was done, but when I went to pick up my car, again they didnt do it. Next time I took my car to get serviced I told them to please make sure the fluids were filled up, and again the guy agreed to check and make sure, then I go to pick up my car and I saw my car in the middle of the street UNLOCKED!! I checked the fluids and again the fluids were unfilled, I told the guy and he felt bad about leaving my car unattended and unlocked, so he gave me a free mini car deatealing. I went back again to get my car serviced, my appointment was at 10am and I told the guy to please make sure he filled up my fluids, so he agreed and and I left, the time passed and then at 5pm I called to see what had happedned with my car, the guy told me that the service department was close, and so I explained to him that I had dropped off my car at 10am, and I needed to pick it up, he told me tha he was going to check, and it wasn't till 6pm that he called me to let me know that my car was ready, I was soooo upset because I needed my car!! It doesn't take 8 hours to get an oil change!!! so then I went to pick up my car, and the guy had lost my keys!! It took the guy about 15 mins to finally find my keys, so I went to check the fluids and realized that the mechanic had put WATER instead of windshield washer fluid!!!! I was very mad, then I callled the service manager, he wasnt there so I left a message with another guy, 3 days went by and I never received a call, so I called the service manager again and I told him about my ordeal, he told me that he was going to look at what had happened and he was going to call me back the next day. He never called, so then I called the corporation and explained my complaint, the guy said that he was going to talk to the manager, and call me back, again the guy never callled me back, so now I dont even know if they are actually doing the entire service right to my vehicle. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CAR AFTER SERVICE, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT DOING WHAT THEY...

I thought that was allot for that car considering it had 95k miles on it. A month after I bought it the suspension went out and was replaced under warranty. A month brought it back for the same noise and issue and they said it was the motor mounts so they replaced those as well. About 4 months later I had the check engine light come on and the dpf light come on. I wasn’t aware of the issue with the dpf but it’s a common and major issue with the tdi model. I took it in and they recommended me to go to vw so I took it there and vw cleaned and did a regen on the car which was not covered. A month later the light came on agian and they told me the dpf was cracked and needed to be replaced which was 2k luckily it was covered under the diesel gate warranty. Several months after that the light came on and would not regen so I took it back and they did another regen. Light came on shortly after for 3rd time and they told me the heater core was bad possibly the egr and quoted me over 2k to do the repair which was not covered under the warranty. I told Honda about the lemon they sold me and they said was they could put me in a new car but I would of course have to start over and still owe the remaining 8k on the car. After a year of having the car the value dropped from 10k to 3.5k and I had only put 20k on the car. I have never had so many issues with a car they claimed to be inspected from the point of sale and for the price they were asking. HONDA clearly does not inspect there pre owned vehicles or care about there customers when it comes to putting them in a reliable car they only care about making a sale which is the reason why I will never ever buy another vehicle from them or recommend them to anyone. If your thinking about buying a car from Honda in Santa Maria I repeat think twice again at least if your buying pre owned. Plus the car salesmen are rude and truly just want to make a sale and do not care for their customers. Because of them I have almost lost my job trying to make it to work and have had nothing but stress making sure I have a reliable transportation...
