Charlies Burger, King Falafel — Restaurant in Santa Maria

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Charlies burgers King Falafel, and I must say, the experience left quite an impression. It was evident that there had been a change in management, as the restaurant now boasted all-new amenities and a remarkably clean environment. The fresh ambiance added to the overall appeal of the place.

When it came to the food, I decided to try their rib sandwich, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors it offered. While it may not have been extraordinary, it was a decent sandwich with a satisfying taste. The combination of tender tri-tip and the accompanying ingredients created a well-balanced meal.

However, the true highlight of my visit was the King Burger. I decided to add some flavor to it by adding bacon and cheese, and it turned out to be a delightful choice. The burger itself was prepared exceptionally well, with a juicy patty that was full of flavor. The bacon and cheese complemented the burger perfectly, adding an extra layer of richness. Overall, it was a mouthwatering treat that I thoroughly enjoyed.

To complete my meal, I ordered a side of fries, and they did not disappoint. The fries were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The portion size was generous, making it more than enough to share between two people. The fries were undoubtedly a standout, and I relished every bite.

ALWAYS LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPT # after I ordered drove up to the window paid when I looked at my receipt NOTHING!!!!!! was the same amount on the board outside so I told her everything you charged me for my king, queen, & Jr. cheeseburgers 2 fries & a soda was a different price so she said ( WE CHANGED THE PRICES I SAID THAT IS GREAT BUT YOU FORGOT TO CHANGE THEM ON THE BOARD ) so the board price outside is what I'm paying I turned my car off and just so you know I don't care who you call I'm not paying for the price you changed in your head !!! and if you don't give me my food I will get off my car and tell the five cars behind me you are charging a different price than what's on that board!!!! So she got the manager on the phone and handed it to me through the drive-through window the manager asked me what I wanted and I told her I wanted my food for the same price that's on that board she said we changed the prices on the board months ago!!! that's fine what's on the board is what I'm paying she just told the girl give me the food for half the price I took my food which I shouldn't have by then because it was cold and drove away so to all the cars behind me after 9 pm last night I hope you looked at your receipt cuz you were probably charged the wrong price. Was in Santa Maria last week. Needed late night food and found good reviews for this place. Get there and plenty of cars in the drive through, I notice there's is a counter to order from. I park and go inside. At least 5 minutes standing there being the only customer inside , no one acknowledging or even a "whats up". I finally order, and the food is ready after all the cars clear out of the drive through. Grab my food head home. Burgers look decent but there's 0 flavor. Little to no seasoning, Bread kinda tough. Fries were bad soggy almost cold. I found it odd that they put the cheese on the bun and not on the actual patty on the grill to melt. Maybe it was an off night. But nothing was good, food or staff.
