SB Restaurant — Restaurant in Santa Maria

My husband & I went to this restaurant for breakfast this morning. It was our first time eating here. The outside is a little "different" for the outside of a restaurant, so we weren't sure what it would be like inside, let alone how the food would taste. We decided to go this time because we were planning on going to the thrift store next door. This made it all easy. The inside was a complete surprise! A really pleasant one! It is huge! Very clean, nice decorations & a great atmosphere. We were welcomed & chose our own booth to side at. I had a scramble with bacon, cheese, spinach & mushrooms. This meal also came with either hash browns or home fries & toast. I chose the hash browns. I have to say that this scramble was the absolute BEST one I have ever had anywhere! I hated that I got full! My husband also got a scramble but his had chorizo in it & he added cilantro & onions. He chose the home fries. And he loved his meal too! We both got salsa's to add to our scrambles & that was really good too. We chatted with the very nice gal who served us & overall, I would have to say that this was a fantastic choice & we will definitely be going back whenever we get into Santa Maria. I don't even know what else to add except that this place is a HIDDEN GEM! Next time & really want to go for lunch & try their club sandwich. PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE! My partner and I saw that this place had high reviews so we decided to give it a shot. We realized there was a sign by the door that said they were closing early, so we started checking our phones for another restaurant. A staff member opened the door and said they'd be more than happy to serve us while they closed, we were shocked and asked him if he was sure, and he opened the door more to let us in. I ordered pasta and my partner ordered an omelet, BOTH were absolutely delicious and the service was so out of this world. We asked for the check while we ate since we did not want to keep them. The staff member explained that he would allow us to take our time because he didn't want us to feel rushed to eat. It was such a generous and professional gesture. It's our first time going here, they weren't too busy when we came on Sunday.   The place was a little hard to find, it kind of just blends in with the rest of the stores.  They have plenty of parking and seating area.  They had 2 huge rooms for dine in. We were helped right away and the person who helped us was nice.  I placed my order for to go.   I ordered:

Breakfast sandwich (sausage on sourdough):  No frills breakfast sandwich.   My husband liked it except that there was mayo in it.

Sausage and bacon breakfast burrito:  This was hearty and delicious.  The ratio was a little off and mostly potatoes.  Overall,  it hit the spot.

Hashbrowns:  Crispy and cooked well.  Good portion for a side order as well.
