10 Speed Coffee — Restaurant in Santa Monica

We came here to have coffee/ tea. Counter service. You wait in line, order and pay. I wanted an ice tea, so I ordered the Peach Oolong, which the staffer told me it would take around 3 minutes to brew and chill. I didn't mind at all. My friend wanted a cappuccino. She just returned from a trip from Rome so we told the staffer that she hoped the cappuccino would be as tasty as in Rome and it was! The kind staffer asked if she wanted a cup ( ceramic) instead of a paper to go cup since we chose to find a place to sit down. This staffer was intuitive, efficient and kind. 5 star to the staffer! THANK YOU!

There is a long communal table where one can plug in your laptop. There are also a long high top table along the glass wall, facing SM Blvd. We chose to sit in chairs for ease of conversation.

The food selection for pastries is limited when we arrived around 12:30pm. They had doughnuts and some healthy parfait options with chia seeds and dragonfruit.

We sat inside and enjoyed our cap and ice tea. There is outside seating along 20th street, just north of SM Blvd.

I will definitely return here to meet for coffee or tea! Nice,...

Horrible experience !!!! On Tuesday 07/27/2021 I went to 10 speed coffee per usual, order my regular order which is a oat latte and two other drinks. Upon arriving to my office had my initial first sip of coffee and immediately notice a very sour taste stop drinking the coffee within hours I had diarrhea and that continue throughout the day and night it subsided the following day. I try following up with them the following day try calling all day long but apparently their phone is currently not in service per staff. I decided to go and address the matter in person, when I got to 10speed I started telling the employee about the sour taste of the coffee and how I felt ill due to the coffee but unfortunately the staff was very unapologetic and very dismissive. All they said to me was I'm sorry for the inconvenience they didn't even offer my money back or to remake the drinks. This was truly an inconvenience because I will no longer be purchasing my coffee from 10speed. They lost a costumer and I will be reporting to the Department of...

Awesome ambience, nice staff - My friend and I go to coffee shops to work on laptops and are always looking for a new spot to set up shop. Visually this place is 10/10, only a few minor fixable tweaks imo. Wifi is good and plugs are plentiful but they close at 6pm. I would go here all the time if they closed at 8 or 9pm as by 6pm we're usually just getting warmed up and don't want to change locations or cut the day short -- A pretty niche concern but here it is nonetheless:) Also a cold brew was $5-$6 dollars, high for even Santa Monica but I would pay it for the ambience if the hours expanded (full disclosure I don't care about coffee, they could put chocolate syrup and water in the cup and I would be fine.
