All problems lead to the manager. Employees are rude and incompetent. Food is hit or miss. - zero consistency. At this location specifically an item was missing from my order. While waiting for my food, I was looking over the receipt, and noticed an item was missing. I asked if they had added the second order of fries I had asked for and was told “I only asked for one”. I said no, I asked for two. The rude employee, looked at me and said no you asked for one. I smiled and said ok, can you please add an order of carne asada fries? I wasn’t there to play battle of wills or give a lesson on kindness, courtesy and customer service. I received the second item only to find it was thrown together like a 3 year old.

This is a reoccurring problem at this location. Read the reviews. I tired to give the restaurant another chance and the food came out cold and soggy - I ordered fish tacos. Such a shame, the BK next door sucks too, so maybe the same owner? My family and I haven’t been back since and won’t be back unless changes are made. Some things to note. Poor food quality, rude/poor customer service, inattentive, lack of work ethic/cleanliness, unfocused, inconsistent, immature, undertrained, lack of SUPERVISION. I would love to see a show of undercover boss at this location, so I could say I told you so.

This is my second complaint in over a year. I ask, please fix the problem or please go away. Honestly I hope people leave more reviews because the manager and owner need...

I decided to try Del Taco because I read some articles talking about their growth and how great they are.

I pulled up to the drive-thru first in line with nobody waiting at the window ahead of me.

I ordered four hard shell tacos without tomatoes or cheese but I did ask for sour cream on all four tacos.

Once I paid for my meal I waited for 6 minutes for it to be handed to me. I then drove off but not before tipping the person waiting on me.

Even though they charged me 70 cents per taco for the sour cream- there was no sour cream on any of the four tacos. How disappointing.

This was a simple order four tacos and nothing else and I did not get what I wanted.

As far as the quality of food it reminded me of the old commercial "Where's the beef? I drove to the nearest store to purchase a magnifying glass in order to locate any rumor of beef that may be inside the shell.

My bill was a staggering $12.80 for four hard shell tacos with barely any beef, lettuce and no sour cream.

All I can say is they must have a heck of a marketing department. 🙄🙄

Lesson learned. If you find yourself in the Sandestin, Santa Rosa Beach area and you see the sign for Del Taco.......

My wife swung by and picked up our meal for the family while I was working. I was ridiculously excited for my chicken quesadilla (add guac and queso) and, when I finished work, checked the fridge and found a cheese quesadilla about the size of my fist sitting in the fridge. I asked my wife, is this mine? I wanted to make sure, because my daughter LOVES cheese quesadillas, so I didn't want to eat her food by accident. Turns out this was indeed mine. My order was supposed to a chicken quesadilla with quac and queso but it ended up just being a tiny tortilla filled with a sprinkle of cheese inside. I could have easily made this at home. Sadly, we paid the extra and ended up with what we got. Order accuracy is important and I'd recommend this restaurant ensure that orders are processed properly - especially for those of us who work multiple jobs and don't have an outlet with no ability to go and get more food outside the house (without having to resort to spending another $50 on doordash).
