My wife and I had an unforgettable Valentine’s dinner at Aussiello’s Homeslice, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped in, the cozy and intimate atmosphere set the perfect tone for a memorable evening. The staff greeted us with warmth and made us feel like VIPs, offering exceptional family-friendly service that made the night feel even more special.
The food was absolutely outstanding. We kicked things off with their exceptional craft cocktails—creative, flavorful, and expertly mixed. The wood-fired pizza was, without a doubt, the best we’ve had, with fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. We also tried the smash burger, and it was absolutely mouthwatering—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
For dessert, we indulged in their decadent sweet treats that were the perfect ending to the meal. Each bite was pure bliss, and it was clear that every dish was crafted with care and attention to detail.
The entire experience, from the food to the service, was flawless. The staff’s attentiveness and family-friendly atmosphere made us feel so welcome, and we couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. We will definitely be returning for more incredible meals. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for delicious food, great drinks, and top-notch...
Read moreI decided to go in after work because my wife and I used to take our daughter to the place that was previously in Homeslice’s spot. Well that was a mistake. It wasn’t so much the poor service (I sat at the bar), it was the big disappointment in the food and the price. I ordered the Al Pastor pizza, which was $24.00 I should have taken a picture, but there were 3 small pieces of pork and 2 chunks of pineapple on the pizza. There were a couple onions and some cheese and it was maybe 12”. I think what made me refuse the food was the poor service on top of it. The woman behind the bar, who I assume is one of the new owners, claimed they were busy. Likely because of a birthday party that was there. However, the bar was half full, the place was about half full, and I didn’t appreciate the excuse as a customer. I also found the staff to be rather unfriendly and either worn out, or just unhappy. Lastly I wasn’t offered utensils or a plate, but knew I didn’t want to eat whatever it was...
Read moreThis is a great restaurant, with great food (and drinks), operated by great people.
My wife and I have been here a few times, and each time everything was wonderful. Their cocktails are well balanced and unique...All if which skew more boozy and less sweet--which I prefer. Hard to recommend any one cocktail, because all of their specialty cocktails are incredibly good. Whether it's bourbon, rum, tequila, gin, vodka, they got you. Cocktails, too!
For food, we've primarily ordered their pizzas and appetizers. The pizza oven is pumping out great pies.
Their pizzas are phenomenal, especially the Korean short rib and meat/carne pizza. They also have GF crust, which we think is among the better GG crusts we've had.
The appetizers we've had were all great, including the beets, brussells, and ahi tartare.
Great atmosphere and service, too. The perfect neighborhood...
