These pictures are of their Mushu Pork. Now, I've had plenty of Mushu Pork throughout the Bay Area and this is by far, the skimpiest, least flavored, and most water based I have ever had. The "Pork" looks boiled and like it hasn't touched a flame at all. I'm eating more of a stewed slaw in a pancake than anything. My wife got the War Wonton soup and it tasted more of a vegetable stock and mainly vegetables than anything. Finally, the Garlic Chicken we got was again, extremely watery and tasted like it came from a boiling pot yet again. For the price of 3 dishes and a large soup, it was about $70...not impressed at all and will find something else, I recommend you do the same.

We have eaten a lot of Chinese food across our travels - this was fresh vegetables cooked perfectly, well seasoned/flavored meats, noodles perfectly done with good flavor ... we enjoyed our meal so much, we forgot to take a picture. The house chow mein is not just a side dish, it is a meal! A favorite is the walnut prawns - still crispy with just the right sauce - YUM! Everyone that we interacted with was so nice - attentive and kind. They chatted with the kids and seemed to genuinely care about us as customers (thats refreshing!). We will be back - a great surprise finding this place.

In Santa Rosa and noticed the China Village Restaurant, where Rita's Chinese Restaurant used to be. I was going to stop at Gary Chew's Chinese Restaurant but I always have a hard time parking my truck in the downtown area, so the Chinese Village is it. What a great decision, the food was amazing, cooked perfectly, and delivered piping hot. The service was just as amazing, as was the cost. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

I was excited to have a new Chinese restaurant near our home in Rincon Valley. Unfortunately, China Village has been very disappointing!

I decided to take my family here on Christmas Day in 2023. We patiently sat there for 20-30 minutes, just waiting to be acknowledged. One of us finally had to wave an employee towards our table so that we can begin to order. I just thought they were busy and understaffed, so I gave them a pass that day.

I’ve returned a couple times after that for pick up. Every single time, I felt deliberately overlooked. The last time, I waited at the bar. Again, no acknowledgment. A gentleman came after me and was acknowledged right away.

I don’t know what’s happening in this restaurant but needless to say, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Why expose yourself to this sort of treatment when other Asian restaurants in the area, like China Legend and Savor, treat their customers better?

I’m curious to see how many other people have had this...

On my own for dinner and was nearby. I'm so glad I stopped in! Was friendly greeted and sat quickly. Ordered Orange Beef as an individual meal. (Adds $6.95 to the price of the entree, gives you egg roll, soup, and rice). I also tacked on pot stickers.

The hot and sour soup was really good. A bit heavy on the green onions for me but not off-putting. The egg roll was a bit lackluster but good. The Orange Beef was amazing!

The pot stickers were really worth it. While there were only 6, they could have been a meal themselves if you wanted something a bit lighter.

The service is really nice and friendly. No complaints here at all. Wishing I lived closer but will definitely be remembering this place for activities on this side of town. Definitely worth the small drive...

There was not much effort put into making the food enjoyable or memorable. All of the dishes were extremely bland. Noodles were overcooked. I picked up my order and it was cold before I arrived to my destination a few minutes away. Also, the cashier, Michael, was extremely rude and unprofessional - snatching and tossing condiments around. I spent over $100 and he did not want to provide soy sauce. I will not be going back and I am spreading the word to my friends and colleagues. Don’t waste your money. I’ve recently noticed that the restaurant is now almost always empty. Also, the place smells like they clean the tables with an old, dirty rag. Yuck! Do not patronize this restaurant....
