Best hole in the wall Mexican comfort food in SoCo. š„ššā¤ļø
After hearing about this place from Nochillmustafa on Insta, I knew I had to try it. I made the journey northwest, and my gods it was worth dodging all the a$$holes on 101.
Their chips have a medium thick consistency so theyāre not gonna break when you dip it in some guac or PDG. The green salsa had the heat and the red had a nice smokiness to it that my uncouth pallet couldnāt place. The cheesy, creamy white mac paired with the birria slapped into next week and the chili oil they provided took it to another level (again, couldnāt place the spices in it).
This little spot had the best customer service Iāve experienced in a restaurant. They went out of their way to make me feel welcomed, hooked me up with some things I had never tasted before, and seemed genuinely appreciative that all of their customers were there.
They have an extensive birria menu, so I will definitely be returning to try the ramen.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy son has been dying to taste their Birria Mac and Cheese Bomb since he saw their Instagram page, but we were unaware that they only served them at their restaurant, which is also on Sebastopol Road, so I went to one of their taco trucks yesterday. Since we arrived at the incorrect place the kind man Johnny who assisted us gave us two complimentary drinks. That struck me as considerate. They gave us our drinks when we got to the restaurant, and they were really kind and provided us with excellent customer service. They also created a batch of bombs from scratch because none of them were already made. I strongly advise you to check this place out. In addition to providing excellent customer service, they also provide delicious food and are incredibly kind and hospitable. We will definitely be returning. PS they made the food in a mannerly time and the strawberry horchata...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood is great here. Got take out and I had the Birria nachos and my husband had the Birria burrito. I am very picky with Birria, i make it myself and this stuff was some of the best I have had in Santa Rosa. The meat was tender (not just shredded but tender), it had great flavor, layered flavor/dimension and it wasnāt overly spicy. All the things you look for in Birria. I loved that the chips for the nachos were fresh. My husband loved his burrito as well. My brother has tried their ramen and loves it! I will definitely be coming back and trying something else. Such...
