Hello, Prophetess Newsom here. I'll keep it short, today I waited 30+ minutes in the drive thru for two spicy chicken combos w/ sweet tea and light ice. After driving down the road and drinking both teas I realized they didn't have any sugar. So I turned around and went back. I asked for my sweet teas to be fixed as well as two fresh fries or a refund. The manager was nasty with me saying they had a lot of online orders before mine ( though I saw over three cars be served there food behind me in the drive way, however she initially offered me a refund disrespectfully. I said well yes I will take the refund because no one deserves to be treated like this. Then she said well ma'am I'm not doing anything for you she threw the food away and denied me a refund. I called the police because I knew that was not legal or right of her. A guest in the restaurant says to me "you shouldn't take drugs while you're pregnant" the entire restaurant laughed. I humbly told him I forgive him and God bless him, that I do not take drugs. He didn't respond. Anyways the police did come and she got me my refund.
Very sad and unfortunate experience. I love their food, but now I know why the service needs so much help. We should all strive to be leaders...
Read moreOh man.. well, for starters, they should allow a review of morning and night crew, because the food and service is night and day! Ha.. pun absolutely intended.
Morning time is generally slow when I go, but almost always fresh and hot. On the occassion, I'll get warm hashbrown sticks or they taste like old grease.
Night crew is incredibly slow and almost always short staffed, just like when I just visited at 2 a.m. I was not greeted for 5 minutes then finally ordered our food and waited literally 30 minutes to get it. Get home only to discover a super runny taquito. Runny eggs are no bueno! Back up there, I go! The manager actually told me it's because they use liquid eggs. (Arent ALL eggs liquid?) No ma'am.. eggs should be fluffy and never watery. Yuck! Had another guy remake it and it was so much better. I also asked when they changed their grease last. She said last night. That grease was brown and I stood there watching it smoke. Brown grease doesn't make good anything, especially fries and hashbrowns, and it makes the chicken strips taste terrible. After this trip, I likely wont be returning. $40 for crap food and as I stood there waiting, I observed how filthy the place...
Read moreOoooo where to start. We decided to make a mobile order (Mistake #1). My wife and I had been out for a date night and figured Whataburger would be the perfect night cap. On the app it says it will be ready to be picked up at 1:12am-1:14am(Yes, it was late).Anyway, I pull up in line around 1:20am, which admittedly was my fault...initially. The app made us choose drive-thru even though they have designated curbside pick up spaces. I am sitting in line for 15 minutes and the line is at the same spot..ok its Whataburger but getting a little irritated. Then the manager comes out to a truck where a man PASSED OUT in line 🤔 for lord knows how long. Finally dude leaves followed a few minutes later by 2 police officers. Finally it goes and i get my food at 2:20am.... I pull out my food and there were no fries and it was obviously cooked when we ordered it at 1:12 so I go back around and knock on window because my order isn't complete or fresh. I tell the manager and he does remake my food which is why i gave 2 stars instead of 1. However I get home and the burger was made wrong. Terrible experience,...
