7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Sarasota

It's a very very busy place. I've never heard of this coffee place before and have been wanting to try it out. They have two lanes to get into and they have a Chick-fil-A type drive through. Think if Sonic and Chick-fil-A had a baby.

I ordered a hot large German Chocolate coffee and a large Caramel Macchiato iced. Just so I can taste both their hot and iced coffees. Much better than Starbucks!!! Starbucks leave this thick like cover in your mouth, but 7Brew tasted as if the coffee beans might be a bit stale or sour... Not quite the taste I was looking for.

Another downside was I wish the girl would have told me I had room to leave around the car that was in front of me. (I think the car in front must have ordered another drink when they pulled up so they were waiting for their other drink) Now I'm waiting longer to leave and I was near a concrete edging and couldn't see if I could pull away or not unless I got out of the car. If I was told I could pull away I could have kept the line moving for other cars and made it easier for her delivering the other drinks behind me.

I've read the other reviews and I can attest the same reactions.... The coffee is way too sweet, music is way too loud and the girls taking the orders need to be more educated on the coffee material. The girl taking my order tried adding a cold brew when I told her I wanted an iced macchiato. Little things really add up. I don't think this will be my go to.

I feel like they missed the mark for anyone in their late 30's and older. This is a place for those early 30's...

I want to start this review by stating that the customer service at this location is great! The girl that helped us out this morning was absolutely lovely! Positive, professional and really helpful! I didn’t grab her name, but she really helped track down my cold brew with almond milk and coconut flavor.

Unfortunately, this is the second time I gave this place a shot and both times the coffee drinks were terrible(first time they were out of cold brew completely and the chai latte I ordered was watered down and not great), but I love cold brew and wanted to give it a fair try. Firstly, they had to brew the cold brew (which is totally fine) but I was expecting the coffee to be fresh but it wasn’t even drinkable unfortunately. It was so watered down and my boyfriend said he could kind of taste the coconut but I could not at all.

My boyfriend wrote a review for the first time we went a couple of weeks ago and I know there was a response saying that you would make it right. I know it’s still a new location, but for a place that specializes in coffee, your coffee is not good… which is a bummer because I really wanted to...

All we wanted was two ice coffees. Very simple.

The girl taking our order turned it into a mathematical incoherent meltdown and crashed out right before our eyes within a matter of 5 minutes lol

She said how many ounces of milk we want? Then if we only want a splash it’s 2 ounces. Then proceeded to say she entered the wrong items. Walked away then came back and said do you want two shots of espresso then? Or would you like us to supplement with ice water. Bro… what? We just want an ice coffee. She said they don’t brew coffee (should’ve led with that) left my husband still doing a 6 ounce equation in his man brain then she proceeded to grab her hair and say “I DONT KNOW HOW ELSE I CAN EXPLAIN THIS TO YOU” I tried to help her articulate but essentially she has a lack of communication that I as a millennial cannot help in 1 interaction lol
