Shannan was legitimately the best server I have had in my entire life. Can’t remember the managers name. I wrote it down, and can’t find it. I’m sure he knows who he is. I had some feedback I gave him there. He’s a middle aged fit guy with salt and pepper kinda hair. I would return just for Shannan’s service. It’s nice to get some old fashioned service. What I mean by that, is someone who ACTUALLY pays attention to the guests, socializes with them, relates to them and gives them the experience that makes them want to come back. I go out to dine regularly & it’s rare these days to get someone who isn’t a total jerk or just doesn’t ignore you. Good job Shannan. Hope yall give him the bests shifts and sections. He deserves it. The tacos with mahi were a little underwhelming in flavor. However, the crab dip & grouper plate made up for what that was lacking. I didn’t try the lobster roll so I’m not sure about that. I wasn’t a fan of the dressing on the Caesar. It had too sweet of a flavor. That however, is preference. I prefer a more traditional Caesar dressing flavor. The blackened shrimp were delicious. The berries were nice and fresh and of good quality. Lastly, the key lime pie was definitely the best I have ever had. It was ice cold, definitely home made, almost had a sorbet like flavor and a nice graham cracker crust that did not taste store bought. I tried to buy a whole pie because I liked it so much, but they did not have enough to sell it to me. Thanks again Old Salty Dog....

I really wanted to enjoy this meal and experience. We walked over from a visit at the aquarium which was a good idea because there was no available parking at restaurant. Wait wasn’t long and we were greeted by hostess right away. The downfall was after we were seated. Our waitress acted like she was in a daze. I really was tempted to ask to move but with the wait we just dealt with it. She NEVER brought me my water the whole meal. Brought my daughter the wrong drink and barely gave us any attention at all. She walked past our table several times and it was about 20min after drinks that we even were asked to put our order in despite being ready. It’s done with now so it doesn’t matter but for management her name starts with K. We observed another table of hers and they sat down a long time after us and they got food very fast(before us). She was very attentive to them.

Once we got our food everything was so bland. It was edible but bland. Small portions and they gave you tiny portions of sauces and dressings which with our not so great waitress was very annoying because she came once after we got our food to ask how it was. For my salad I was given a tiny cup of about 2 tbs of dressing. I ate the salad dressing-less because it was a feat getting waitress attention I just said whatever and ate dry lettuce 🙄

Overall not worth the money.. Too bad because they have a nice location. Do...

Gotta give the food one star, not so much for the quality, but the stingy portions and some of it was served lukewarm.

What was good: their feather-light beer batter on the hot dog bites and fish and chips. And about those hot dog bites: the menu lists the appetizer as $10 for a BASKET OF HOT DOG BITES. We were PSYCHED because they sounded delicious. Well, they were, but we got a whopping five hot dog bites - inexcusable! The rest of it was padded with a mountain of lukewarm French fries which clearly had been sitting around waiting for the hot dogs to cook. Absolute rip-off to be charged $10 for what amounts to a single hot dog and a pile of limp fries.

Same deal with Fish and Chips. The fish was excellent, but served with old fries which should have been SIZZLING. At $20 a serving for the fish and chips, they should not require a four dollar add-on for a tiny cup of coleslaw. Another rip-off and poor hospitality.

The grilled shrimp were excellent and generously portioned.

Our waitress, Robbie, was very friendly, very professional, and...

Nice little spot right on the water, small parking lot, but wasn't busy when we went, surprisingly. We got drinks, appetizer, and entrées and nobody had a complaint. Their Bloody Mary was actually really good, and I hate Bloody Marys! My gf got it and she loved it. I always give her drink a taste to see if I'll ever not hate it, and this was the first. I ordered the Margarita, wasn't the best I had, but it was good, I wasn't mad. I got the famous loaded dog and loved it, highly recommend trying it at least once! Chicken tenders were really good too, the breading is flaky almost like a fish batter, not your typical chicken tender batter, but it was great. Table ordered some side salads, I didn't try them but they looked fresh and tasty. The clam chowder came out super hot and I liked it a lot. A tad "fishy" but not bad IMO, but someone that may be sensitive to this may be turned off. Overall great experience, waitress was really nice and on top of things. The place is dog friendly and it's also right on the water. So grab your dog and go get a dog!

I had very high expectations from this place since it was rated very highly. Finding the parking was such an hassle because their free parking lot is always full and there is no other parking nearby. We had to wait a while before someone decided to leave one of the spots so we could park. We were sat at a good table with a view almost immediately which lightened up our mood after the difficulty in finding the parking. Once we sat down, nobody came to take our order. One server kept stopping by telling us he will come over but kept going to different tables. After about 15 mins of sitting we were able to place the order. We ordered Fish & chips, Fish burger and clam chowder. We also got some mimosas to drink. Almost all the items we tried were not very flavorful. The fish in the burger and the in the fish & chips was very oily. The clam chowder tasted very salty and had big clumps which were very chewy. The only items that were good was the fries and the mimosa. Overall our experience was not good.
