Best tortas ever!!!!
Don't hesitate this place is super legit, as a Mexican I can say these tortas are in my top 3 tortas I've ever eaten in the United States. They have Al pastor from a "trompo" which means that the meat is prepared and cooked on a vertical spindle with the meat getting cooked by flames in the back. The difference between this and most all other Al Pastor that you will find anywhere is huge better taste and a delicious char from the flames. Most places just season and then cook on a skillet or stovetop grill. It's very unusual that you find a "trompo" anywhere so do yourself a favor and go try them out.
The rest of the manu is also amazing, not as many dishes as you may see other places but everything is super authentic and extremely delicious!!!
Service and setting are great as well, everyone so friendly, plus they have "pan dulce" Mexican sweet pastries, how can you go wrong.
Estas tortas son la neta del planeta, super sabrosas, y sevidas con cariño y sonrisas de todos las que trabajan ahi. No dudes an visitarlos, esta Bien rifado...
Read moreWent for dinner a few weeks ago and got carne asada plate and it was delicious, meat was tender and flavorful, so I came back a week later and ordered the same plate. I went for dinner last night, ordered the carne asada plate and AGAIN the meat was extremely tough and chewy with no flavor at all, like eating leather so much so that I had a hard time cutting it with the knife provided. My teeth hurt chewing it, it was that tough. I left 90% of it uneaten and the waitress never asked how everything was so I didn't say anything to her as she could see I didn't eat it. The meat appeared to be frozen and quick thawed and grilled,...

It has been said that if you go to an ethnic restaurant and the patents aren't of that ethnicity...leave. Well, we were the only non-hispanic people in the restaurant that day for sure! Good call!
I had the Torta Nortena and she had the Chaney (chicken & grilled pineapple). These tings were huge! Massive even! Tried to finish mine and just couldn't.
Excellent flavors, excellent service, nice Mexican beach music playing on the video screens.
The bakery looked amazing, but we were to full to try anything else.
Just means we have to come back again...
