Nov 2023: The seasons change, and so does the stock. Lots of tempting buys before black Friday. My personal favorite Sam's staff is Darin in Pharmacy. Always informative helpful and cheerful. Really all the staff in Pharmacy are great. Thanks.
New: 4/23: Still * Some things never change. It was pre- Easter busy, and lots of yard, garden and spring stuff.
New Update: 8/2022: I buy all my gas at Costco - Top Tier and 4% on the Costco Card if you are a Gold Star member using their Citi Card. Very few waits there, and same price. I still like (and USE) Scan & Go at Sam's (Why doesn't everyone, it's SO easy?) I almost laugh when I see people standing in line to check out. You don't have to do that. Just use your cell phone and the app to scan your products as you put them in the cart.. Swipe to pay, and leave without any wait. Sam's is still way behind on any organic foods. (One * Star there). It's fairly clear to me that they are catering to people who want cheaper prices and don't care so much about ingredients. The evidence of that is the fact that Lays Corporation has taken over all of the chip department. Very few healthy choices, but I suppose it's the stuff that kids love. To be honest, I don't have to worry THAT much about the price differences. I'd go for the organic anytime even if it costs more, but I know many people have to be a lot more careful. Sam's is probably a good place for that.
Old update...Feb 2022 - The gas station is always a hassle, wait in line, routed left for left fill vehicles, but some pumps aren't used since you have to ignore their route plan to get there. It's really a stupid gas station setup. In the club, Scan & Go is great, no more waiting at checkout, * five stars for that, but less due to the fact that they are way behind in organic foods! Read moreOverall, we love our Sams Club. We have a special needs child and need to use the family restroom to allow room for diaper changes and allow us to go as well. TMI. I know. Yet, every time we try to access the family restroom, it is occupied, sometimes for up to 20 minutes. And who comes out? A store employee. It is extremely frustrating that they decide to take their break in the only family restroom in the store. If it happened once, I would let it go. But I swear it is every time we are there (once a week). And for that matter. Walmart in Sartell and St. Cloud are the same story. Special needs or not, parents with small children should be able to access these facilities and not have them taken up by store employees who just want some privacy for their business, social media, texting, whatever else they do in there. Trying to get a store manager to address this is not possible either as we have waited for a manager and never got a response in the store. So, maybe if we voice this concern here, someone will read and address. Other than that, Sams Club is...
Read moreI went to Sam's for the Pharmacy. Bob, Janna, Elizabeth and Crystal were working. As usual, they were all at my disposal (as needed). Customer service is a priority in shopping and your people always help me above and beyond my needs and expectations!
I have used another Pharmacy for years, however, do to the superior service I have received from the Pharmacy staff at Sam's, *I plan on continuing with them in the future. (I must add here that I also use Walgreen's/Hapeth at the St. Cloud Medical Group. They also provide excellent customer service (and the convenience of picking up medications immediately following an appointment is invaluable).
In addition to this, I also made several other purchases at your store. I find the produce and meat sections to be superior in almost every way.
If the percentage were not the highest of any of my credit cards I would use it. Sadly, I will not use my charge account there as a result of this.
