Wingstop — Restaurant in Saugus

I went here at 12:40 July 25th 2025 and the young boy at the counter maybe about 18 told me that they were closed and I told him that they don't close until 1:00 and that it was unfair to people that got out at work at midnight like myself and I also am in the service industry I am a bartender and have run many Dunkin Donuts is as a regional manager so I know what Quick Service and fast casual so if any of my employees ever closed a minute before we were supposed to they would get written up and or fired. This young man decided to close his register 20 minutes early and asked me to order online since his register was closed. I asked him if he could just take my order because there was no Wi-fi so my internet was slow and it would take me a lot longer than opening his register on micros. I'm very well aware of every POS system that has been made in the last 20 years. It only takes 30 seconds to open up a register it takes about 10 minutes to run a report at the end so he was only considering his time not the guest time I can now see why this Wingstop has a 2.5 review average. Someone needs to step in and actually manage this place because I have never seen a place more mismanaged in my life. I am also fluent in Spanish and all the workers were talking a lot of stuff not good stuff about myself being Caucasian and blonde I don't appreciate this and if somebody does not call me from the management office I will be going higher. We ordered carry out and this was our first time. My review will be solely on the taste of the boneless wing flavors alone. We got Atomic, Spicy Korean Q, Original Hot and Cajun. The Cajun flavor was hot - but tasted like black peppered buffalo flavored? I’m not sure what to make of it, it was tart and had a strong black pepper taste and nothing like Cajun flavor. The Original Hot did not taste like a regular buffalo neither - a not so hot flavor but not a Buffalo taste I was expecting. The Atomic - had very little heat to eat, it honestly tastes just like the Original Hot. The Spicy Korean Q was probably the best flavor…. Absolutely nothing like a bulgogi or Spicy Korean sauce if that’s what you are looking for. It tastes like Honey BBQ. The place is extremely small and there seems to always be a long line of people waiting for their carry out as well. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for good chicken. Where do I even begin. I told the lady that I wanted “bone wings” and also gave her the flavor and again I said “bone in” my dad also said classic wings at the end. And also asked for ranch sauce and I was right next to here with eye contact and she proceeded to put blue cheese along with boneless wings. Another thing is I said my name and how to spell it and she proceeded to spell it completely wrong. We waited a good 15 minutes.
