Iron Horse Social Club — Restaurant in Savanna

Very friendly place. I stopped there on a Monday night to get something to eat. As I sat at a table looking through the menu an older gentleman stopped by and began to talk to me. I was not sure if he was the owner or not but just a real friendly man. After talking for a few minutes. He said the New York strip steak is amazing and is our special for today. So I ordered that.

While waiting I looked around at thegetting bikes and other memorabilia that was in there. Then I walked into the antique shops located right to the side if the bar area. There is a lot of very nice stuff in there too.

I went back to my seat and the meal was just getting there. The steak looked and smelled amazing. Also it came with a baked potato and side salad. I went and cut into it and it was cooked to perfection as I asked for. I took my first bite and it was incredible. It was very tender and the seasoning was perfect. The best Strip steak I have ever had. For a 16 oz. Steak and the sides for $16 was an amazing price. I have been to restaurants and have paid $50 or more for basically the same meal and not as good or the friendliness that I experienced here.

Pull your bike over, kick your feet up and take a ride on the Iron horse! One of the coolest places, I have stopped at for bars. Upstairs is a Chapel, downstairs is a museum( featuring bathrooms) and main floor is where you can wet your whistle with a wide variety of libations. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. No blaring TVs to stare at. You will find carved hardwood and unique surroundings to let your mind relax and strike up some conversations. Did you spill your drink? A great hole in the wall bar that has a lot of history of bikes in the bar and I mean classic Harley's and more! A nice little gift shop with a lot of selection! There's a second bar in the next room that has a dancing pole on it and they are updating and it looks nice! A very nice outdoor area that is covered from the sun and any other kind of weather!
