New China Restaurant — Restaurant in Savanna

Unfortunately, this is the only shop in town. For some strange reason, there is no good Chinease Restaurants in the areas of Savanna or Clinton. Both are total failures. In Savanna i might buy an egg roll. In Clinton i will buy nothing. This includes those two buffets in Clinton who simply lack the various offerings you find at better establishments. I do a walk thru at all buffets before i will commit. I rarely get pass the walk thru. There are only two i can partake in. One is in Dubuque, the other is located in Davenport. Ordered at the counter and paid right away , sitting in a booth for dine in. She brought me the wrong order and when I informed her (thinking it was someone else's meal on accident) she argued with me and wouldn't replace my meal. This restaurant changed hands in 2025, but they kept the same recipes as before. The husband is excellent in the kitchen and the wife is amazing with hospitality. The chicken and mixed vegetables was 5 stars. Chicken and snow peas is also top notch. The pork in the pork & mixed vegetables has a bit of a brown spice flavor.
