Sippi-Side Pub Grill and Liquor Store — Restaurant in Savanna

Worst experience trying to dine out ever! We were not greeted nor did the waitress come over. She did go to a table that came in 10 mins later than us. So I went to the bar. Ordered a drink and food. 20 mins later ordered another round. Halfway thru drinks waitress finally comes over asking if we had been helped. We said yes, we ordered at the bar. She then proceeded to take the order for the table behind us. Arriving nearly an hour after we had. Finally see a lady bringing food over our way, we think, ok, food is finally here. Our appetizer and 2 burgers. Nope. Went to table behind us. I look to see what's on trays thinking she mistakenly gave them our food, and spill my drink. Waitress is cleaning table next to ours and we tell her we have no napkins, can she help us. A lady at the bar threw napkins our way. Waitress finishes whiping up the table next to us and walks away opposite direction. So I let it spill onto floor, as I was blocking it with my arm. I go to bar and get attention of another lady and tell her we had been ignored long enough and would like to pay for our drinks. I explain we had been there an hour and a half. No food, not even our app. We wanna pay and leave. She takes my card, slams it down, says it's on me, have a nice day. Not a sorry, nothing. So needless to say, I can't even rate the food. We never got it. Service was horrible for sure. The girl with the cast did get me 2 rounds and struggled, but did ok. Other 2, rude and oblivious. We were not the only people there that were ignored as a lady had to come ask also when someone would be able to help them. Do better!! I only went here as I was recommended to by a friend. I always want to leave good reviews whenever possible but this was not a good experience overall. It started by our group showing the waitress that the end of our table was dirty and needed to be cleaned, especially with the piece of onion that was staring at us. She did not address it for over 10 minutes and only because we put a napkin over it stating we weren't going to stare at someone else's onion anymore. Then I order a Turkey Club. It looked like a bread sandwich so I filtered through it to find NO Turkey and 4 half strips of bacon. I sent it back to have returned to me almost another bread sandwich. A couple of slices of deli meat and a slice or so of very thin sliced cheese. Remember, this is a $14.00 bread sandwich! My friends wings were some of the smallest we have had in months, though a couple friends from our group seemed to have success with the fish. The food was good, different, and stood out in the newness of the place. Sometimes that's hard to do, but they accomplished that. Service was friendly, fast, and easily efficient, as the place is not that big, so it's quite easy to get from the kitchen to the table and back to the bar. They were a little mechanical and/or herky jerky but that is to be expected at a new place. The girls that worked the night I was there, will be old pros in a couple of weeks. Most of the time they will be standing around because once people start eating the amazing food they won't be worried about anything else.
