Horrible attitude she nodded constantly when asked with simple request addons that we would be willing to pay extra for anyway if asked for(she never did ask we simple got a big NO). The espressos were water down like 1 part coffee 4 parts water (no crema) never came by to ask how was it , instead just drop a bill with 18% tip included. Please hire professionals to do the job not apprentices and force me to pay for crack service . Some restaurants are doing this lately they are including tip to make sure patrons don't short the waiter etc but instead they're just creating a situation that no-one gives a crack and service becomes absolutely disgusting only because they know they're getting tipped at 18% either way. This is my 3rd time dining here both other 2 times me and my wife had good service like 4 stars and tip wasn't included and we tip 20% as always but this time service was 0 (zero) stars if i could give one. Easily use to be one of my favorite restaurants as I would order during the week for myself and staff. However, I would not recommend ordering from them on the weekends or evening hours. The food is never prepared correctly and consistently cold. There’s time where I haven’t said anything but today I specifically mentioned when they took my order, could they make sure the food is hot as it hasn’t been previously. To my luck the food was completely cold when it was delivered today. When I called to let the restaurant know, the woman that answered the phone said well we gave it to the delivery person hot, maybe he stopped elsewhere, I’ll talk to him. She never apologized or offered to fix the issue. After I said well that’s all you have to say she said she’ll have her manager call me back. The manager called and he said that they’re busy on the weekends and it was a game so they were busy, and he will make sure to let his team know to say that delivery can take up to a 1 and a half. So after he said that, I said well it’s happen multiple times, and I didn’t complain last time but it’s getting ridiculous. His response was well I’ll talk to my team but if you’re not pleased well don’t order from us anymore. Just Extremely rude. He then said I’m trying different containers to keep the food warm but it’s only so much I can do. It still took me to say well what does that have to do with me I paid for hot food, it was then he said well if it’ll make you happy then I’ll offer you a free meal the next time you order. Very condescending. & if I tell you as a customer my food isn’t hot and hasn’t been hot, your response as a business owner should not be well I’ve spent more money on different containers to see if that’ll work. Stopped in yesterday when I was in the area and realized I hadn't seen a Colombian restaurant in the Sayreville area before. I'm from Hudson County and I guess my standards are higher on Colombian food because of Noches de Colombia. I saw MiLina and suddenly got an urge for Colombian empanadas. I ordered 4 meat empanadas, 1 arepa de choclo con queso and 1 arepa blanca con queso. The total was $16. It was for me and my teenage son. We were both very disappointed. The empanadas barely had any meat, they were all filled with just potatoes and a hint of meat!!! Seriously, I've had papa rellenas at kiosks that had less potato and more meat than these empanadas!!!! When I asked the waitress why I had to wait 15 mins for the order, she explained the arepas de choclo are frozen and take longer to heat up. It was a bit of a turn off to hear they are frozen when in other restaurants they pull them out in front of you and heat them in a couple of minutes. The arepa blanca and the arepa de choclo were both soggy from all the cheese on both.

I won't be returning. I feel $16 is a lot for less than mediocre fried food. Maybe I'm just spoiled from a higher quality Colombian restaurant. But honestly, I've been to several of the Noches de Colombia restaurants, even driving to Passaic for their food, and all of them have been better than MiLina. I suggest MiLina stop cutting corners and make the appetizers better because if they can't get empanadas right, I'm not taking a chance on their main dishes. Maybe in Sayreville they can get away with mediocre Colombian food, but I'd rather drive half an hour north and get better food at a...
