I had no intention of eating out today but I was really hungry and passing this place so I decided to stop in. The woman at the counter was very very nice and went out of her way to be kind to me but she assumed incorrectly that I didn’t know anything about what I was ordering which was kind of offensive. I started with the Samosa chaat which was absolutely delicious but it was a little bit spicier than I would have liked. I did ask for everything to be a little milder than they would normally prepare it, Bc I get it that I don’t measure up to spicy standards but I really wanted to taste the flavors of the food. Next I had the mixed grill, and every single thing was absolutely delicious. It was a nice size portion as well. The kebabs were a little bit spicier than I wanted but they were so delicious I didn’t even care. If I was coming here again this is what I would order for sure. I also ordered the lamb curry. I asked the lady at the front pretty clearly was it a red sauce or a yellow curry like a korma and she said it was like a korma but it was definitely red, not yellow. I liked it but it’s not what I wanted and probably I won’t eat it. The sauce was less tasty than I would’ve liked, but the meat was very very tender and perfect. The roti I ordered was OK, she asked if I wanted it soft like a towa roti or a regular roti and I said I did prefer it soft. I still got crispy. I also ordered the paneer kulcha which was amazing. The lachha paratha was pretty good, too. The woman at the counter definitely made up for some of the food not being what I wanted. But overall the experience was a really good one, I’d definitely go back and recommend...
Read moreI had their food delivered with Doordash. I ordered the Samosa Chaat, Lamb Saag, and the Roti. First off, the Samosa Chaat was listed as an appetiser but it’s an entire meal. It’s a bowl full of samosa’s covered in sauces, tons of chickpeas, fresh peas, and red onion. Amazing. It tasted SO good. The Lamb Saag was tender, flavourful, and reminded me of how we make it in the Caribbean. I recommend it for any Latinos. Lastly, the roti was perfect for the Lamb Saag and very big. Pleas order from this restaurant, especially if you’re having a bad day and need food to comfort you. You will...
Read moreLot of Room for improvement. We tried today on new Indian restaurant near kumon. It is just ok. Seems they are special in kebabs. Rotis are ok. Chicken 65 average (gravy can be better). . Quantity they gave is less..when we said they gave one more..and charged twice. Which we did not expect. This place is very next to shoprite..need to be little generous. Will try couple of more times for chat and tea. If they attract kumon crowd ,they can be busy. There is no decent coffee or tea place in that complex. You can there mango lassie too. Because this place is new..I hope they...
