Blake Orchard Juicery — Restaurant in Scarborough

Let me start by saying the space is beautiful—open, modern, and inviting. Unfortunately, the service and value didn’t match the aesthetics.

I stopped in after a morning walk and ordered an iced ginger latte. It took a few minutes to even be acknowledged, and after a bit more waiting, someone finally came over to take my order. I requested “light ice,” and to my surprise, the screen displayed an extra $1 charge. When I asked if there was actually a fee for less ice, the response was a curt “yes, it’s more product,” delivered with an unnecessary attitude.

Still, I went ahead with the order. After waiting over 8 minutes for a single drink, I finally received it. Yes, it was filled to the top with light ice—but for $10, I expected more: more service, more flavor, more care.

The drink itself was mediocre at best. Maybe my disappointment stemmed from the overall experience, but I left feeling underwhelmed and a bit taken advantage of. Charging extra for something as minor as less ice—especially without a clear explanation or pleasant attitude—just didn’t sit right.

Maybe others will have a better experience, but for me, it just didn’t live up to the hype...

Very happy to see Blake Orchard Juicery open another location! It did not disappoint! The staff was welcoming and the space was clean and spacious. The menu was the same as the other locations and the quality of food was too. Delicious! Their peanut butter tubs are a must! I got that as well as the iron man juicer, superfood coffee (iced), and the summer bowls to go. Great way to start your morning for sure! For people new to Blake Orchard, keep in mind the food is FRESH so the wait after ordering may take a bit, but it is worth it for fresh, organic, healthy food....

Here to glow about this business! I called 15 min before they closed asking if it was too late for an in-person counter order but totally understanding if the answer was “no”. They graciously took my order over the phone and had it ready in 5 minutes. And the smoothies were perfect. We love their homemade mylk smoothies and the bowls are amazing.

Orders close to closing can be frustrating for businesses but the Blake staff was super friendly and accommodating. We’ve been fans for many years since they had a shop on Exchange St, and adore this new location close...
