Ciao Bella Ristorante

My husband and I made an 8:00 pm reservation for this restaurant 2 weeks before Valentine's Day. I had always heard bad things about this establishment however, I'm not a person that is easily persuaded. I still wanted to try it. At this point, I really wish I would've just went to TGI Fridays down the street. We arrived for our reservation and we're told that there would be an additional 10-15 minute wait. I have never experienced this but I figured, it's a holiday so that is fine. We waited for over 20 minutes, which wouldn't have been an issue however, they sat 2 party's of four and 6 parties of 2 BEFORE sitting us. 5 of these parties had arrived AFTER us. This really didn't sit well with us seeing that we had made a reservation for a reason. Finally, we're the last ones standing and we were escorted to our table. We sat down and I thought it was a joke to have paper on top of the table cloth when you are about to spend over $150 on a meal for two at a restaurant. However, we continued on and tried to make the best of it. As I'm talking with my husband I notice how cold it is in the restaurant. I start looking around and notice that every women that is in this establishment has a coat on. It was so chilly we couldn't even eat comfortably. Next, we wait for our server and it took another 20 minutes for us to get greeted. By now, it is 9:00 O'clock and Ciao Bella closes at 9:00 pm. The server then notifies a gentlemen who is pouring my water that our table, along with the other two surrounding tables need bread. This man walked away as the server was still talking and left my husband with no water. The server then came back with bread. Which by the way was amazing the bread was soft, tasty, and warm! Now we skip to drinks. I ordered their chocolate martini and I received a drink with ice. From my knowledge, martinis do not have ice. I asked the server if the ice in a martini is normal, and he confirmed that it is not. I sent it back and asked for a new one. The martini is okay. It looks Chocolaty and taste like chocolate but it isn't strong in taste. Finally, after flagging our server down, we order. I order the 6 oz filet (I couldn't order the salmon or veal because they were sold out.) and added the potato fries with the side salad. We received the salad and was shocked to see that it had already come with vinaigrette dressing and black olives. My husband and I dislike both of these items. In the description it did not say this salad would have these ingredients. We move on and choose to not complain. Our filet arrived and I had ordered a medium steak. As soon as I cut into the steak, all I tasted was the char from the grill and I noticed it was well done. At this point we're not satisfied at all! We're annoyed, we want to leave, and it took another 30-35 minutes for our server to come back around. Needless to say this was THE WORST restaurant we have been to in all of NWI and we will not be coming back. I'd also like to include that this establishment is called Ciao Bella Ristorante and Pizzeria. After reviewing the menu, there was no pizza at all!
