This is the worst service in all of Schertz. It's really disappointing because their food is actually really good, but it takes hours to get it. I don't know if it's management or if it's the servers prioritizing the bar. It really seems to me that the owner doesn't want a restaurant and just wants a sports bar. If that's the case, then take the kitchen out. My last experience here will likely be my LAST experience there, my fiancee and I sat at the wall under a TV to watch sports while we ate. I ordered the cheesy bread appetizer and then proceeded to wait 25 minutes until a server came to us and told us they'd be handing out apps shortly and wanted to take our entre order. I obliged and ordered a large pizza and a calzone. Only none of my food came out. We waited 30 minutes AFTER previously being told that our appetizers were coming, they never did. After waiting an accumulative hour and 15 minutes I finally just stood up and walked out without ever getting my food. The store wasn't busy either, and there were tables waiting even before we sat down. The only reason I'm rating the food higher is because when you're ever able to actually get your food - it's really good. They're pizza is good and the calzone is my favorite aside from Mars pizza. Overall, I'd probably just go to Mars. At the very least there, you won't be waiting hours for your appetizer. The prices don't justify waiting half an hour for apps and then another hour for the entre. We went to Olive Garden and got served all of our food within 30 minutes. The management needs to be changed and every employee needs...

I guess it's a good place if you want to wait hours for your pizza and are ok with dirty restrooms. We decided to try somewhere different and gave Big Papa a shot. About an hour later we left having never been graced with our pizza. People who came before us had eaten and left. People who came after had eaten. Our pizza was lost to time. It was a Friday, and they seemed to have a brisk take out business going. A little (lot) more interaction with the waitress telling us it would take a while may have saved a customer. The cheesy bread was good, I'm guessing their pizza would have been as well had we wanted to wait who knows how long to get it. Had we gone to the restroom at the start of the visit instead of towards the end, we would have left sooner. The floor was wet & dirty, there was a hose coming from the AC through the ceiling into the sink, and no soap in the dispenser. In the end, and after an hour we left. I paid for our beer and appetizer, and the sarastic lady at the register tried to give me a frequent visit card. Yeah, what part of me telling you we were leaving without our food would make anyone think I'd be coming back? They must be doing something right, they seemed busy. Too busy for their own good I think. Before you go, just know it's a gamble. Maybe you'll have a pizza, maybe you'll go eat somewhere else. Maybe that restroom will make you...

Just went to Big Papas last night. We thought we would give it a try. We ordered a house salad and the Super (supreme) pizza. I asked how much for extra chees and the eaitress said "oh about $1.00 extra". So I said go ahead and do extra cheese. The salad came it was a decent size for a house salad. My wife and I were sharing the salad so we order ranch and blue cheese on the side. They charged me an extra $.75 for the second dressing. Not hsppy about that cause she fidnt say it was extra for a 2nd one. The biggest complaint was the pizza didnt have "extra" cheese in fact it was barely noticeable for even any cheese, let alone extra. I asked her about it and she said "I put "extra cheese" on the order. But I responded : " Thats extra? I can barely see any cheese: her only response was: "I can take it back". I said no well just eat it like it was, buy thats not "extra" cheese. Then the bill came and we were charged the $.75 for the 2nd dressing and $3.00 for the insufficient cheese. We paid and left at that point it wasnt worth the argument. My rating is, not too good. They nickle and dime extras and there prices are too high for the quality of what you get. Wont be going back. Win some...

Our pizzas were burnt. The crust was like eating a hard cracker which took away from the meal. The flavor of the toppings was good and the cheese was a great blend. We tried the Meatie, the Chicken Bacon Buffalo Ranch, and the Hawaiian. The Hawaiian was the winner in taste. It's always frustrating when the toppings and cheese aren't carried near the edge of the pizza and that's why our crust was burnt. Can't comment on the atmosphere but they did make us another pizza since one of ours was made incorrectly so kudos on service. We'll give them another try but will ask that they don't cook them too long.

Pizza and the wings were very tasty - pizza was a tad on the greasy side but was worth it. The lower rating is due to the service. The waitress only came around three times - once to take order, second to bring pizza and third to bring wings which came out 15 mins after pizza. There were only a few groups in the place. Never refilled drinks or brought our check. We ended up having to go up and ask for our check after waiting for about 10 minutes after we finished all our food. She was quite pleasant but not efficient at all. Next time will order out.

Perfect little place for a 1 person quick meal, a family dinner, or even some pie, wings, beer, and sports at the little bar or with any of the 6 or so TVs in the super small pizza joint. I got the Club Med. Pretty good. A bit salty with the green olives, crust was awesome, but it didnt taste as Italian as I hoped with the oregano, pesto, ricotta, etc. But very filling and worth the price. I can't wait to try the Big Kahuna though. If only I lived closer.
