Jaspare's Pizza & Italian Food — Restaurant in Schoolcraft Township

The choices were unclear when trying to order takeout. The southwest egg rolls said they came with sauce but there was nowhere to choose the sauce. So I put 4 ranches in the special instructions even though ranch isn't listed on the menu at a price. There was also a deal that included a 2 liter but no selection listed on the menu. So I also put my 2 liter of choice Mt Dew in the special instructions. When we called to confirm they let us know that they only had coke products so no problem I switched it from a Mt dew to a coke. At that point the should've let us know that ranches were $1 each but didn't. When my hubby went in to pick it up the super rude lady at the counter told him he had to pay for all 4 ranches even though I wanted 1 of them for the egg rolls which apparently came with some kind of honey mustard sauce that wasn't even mentioned in the menu. They only had 2 ranches with the order. Again she argued with him and was very rude trying to wave him off. And had him open all the boxes in case they put the 2 other missing ranches in the boxes. Who would put cold ranch in hot pizza boxes? They didn't. It was a terrible experience and the food wasn't even close to good enough for what we paid. This was a one time experience for us. We will never waste our money...

The pizza is good, not great but good. The problem is that the service is terrible. If you order a pizza to go they will give you a pickup time of say 25-30 minutes. When you show up at the 30 minute mark they will tell you oh, another 20-25 minutes. It happens every single time so I quit giving them my business. My time has value and clearly that don’t value me or my time so to hell with Jaspares! How freaking hard is it to give an accurate order time? It’s not hard! When I was a kid I worked in a pizza place and we never did what Jaspares does! NEVER! Update: this update was written 2 months after what I wrote above. Told 20 minutes, show up at 20 minutes only to be told it would be another 10 minutes, 25 minutes later I got my pizza so the original 20 minutes became 45 minutes and they didn’t look busy at all. This was their last chance so I’m never coming back and I’m going to steer people away. Normally I don’t do that but my friend’s and family’s time is valuable even if Jaspare’s thinks...

Sunday afternoon 12:30. We came for lunch and only one other customer there who already had his food. Took FOREVER to get our order, and the waiter guy??? (didn't act much like a waiter) had to be asked for everything, water refilled, forks please, now parmesan, and could we get our check..... this guy didn't anticipate anything and was lost for long periods in between. Pizzas are SUPER EXPENSIVE!! so beware, and we had a SaveAround coupon which same guy said they don't honor (supposedly for a Jaspares in 3 rivers which coupon doesn't specify)... that is just bad business, considering that other establishments honor competitors coupons even but they won't even a coupon that has their name on it!! Pizza was alright--sweet sauce, thin crust, somewhat slimy with the topping just sitting there on top, sliding off... Maybe just go down the road, this isn't what it used to...
