Mar-Jo's Diner — Restaurant in Schoolcraft Township

UPDATE------ 11/3/23

New menu I posted it. New owners have made a few changes. No more AYCE on chicken strips and fish. But the large order is huge! Took over half home on large order. Nice won't have to fix dinner tonight.

Was kinda of aggravating hearing some one screaming NO and other words including a few curse words from the back area. Everyone in the front dining room were looking at the doors to the kitchen wondering what was going on. Well hopefully it isn't the norm.

Will be coming back.

UPDATE---- 3/19/23 We would drive out of our way over 30 miles just to have breakfast here. This time same service fantastic, but food was different. Pancakes are now almost 1/2 the size, everything on the menu is pretty much 9 to 11 dollars and the biscuits are bitter and salty.

We asked why the pancakes are smaller and found out the restaurant is under new ownership. But we were told the AYE Fish and Chicken strips are the same.

Me and my husband came in today it was not busy we sat down and waitress came over and asked what we wanted to drink I ordered a sprite and my husband ordered coffee. We sat there 20 minutes and never got our drinks.the waitress then went over and visited with some older customers for about 10 more minutes and then she began clearing tables in back di ing area. We come in to the restaurant every time we are in town due to good food and service. We noticed that there were different people working in there. They just stared at us and never brought our drinks or took our order. We got up and left and a skin y young employee with dark hair told us to have a good day. We will not return to Mark is. That was uncalled for and terrible. My husband was mad and the employees would not do their job. I will contact the owner to make a complaint and I will call the better...

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants to go to. Now that they got a new ownership it is not the same at all The all you could eat chicken is not the same the ranch is not the same the menu isn't even the same anymore It took a lot of things off. My granddaughter wanted spaghetti cuz it was still on there for the kids menu and they don't even have spaghetti anymore and it used to be one of the things you could get all you can eat. They should have never switched ownership that was the worst thing they're probably going to end up closing because of it I won't go back anymore We used to always come here for big family outings when families to come into town we won't now there's lots a whole bunch of business for my family.
