My 8 year old son and I ate here after spending a week in PA visiting from Buffalo. This was by far the best food we ate all week, as well as the best service and atmosphere! My son loves to try new foods. We tried a few local ethnic restaurants in Bloomsburg, ate at Knoebels and also visited Hershey, but nothing impressed us the way THBC did. In addition to the great beer choices, this is the kind of food worth spending your money on. These are the servers worth tipping (Brady was fabulous helping us make menu choices). We had the ahi tuna appetizer, which was amazing. We asked for the sauces on the side, which worked out great, because the tuna alone was delicious and didn’t even need extra flavor! My son devoured it. He had the cornflake crusted cod fish entree and ate every bit, aside from the piece I tasted. The cornflake crust was so crispy and the fish tasted very fresh. I had the Turkey burger with the goat cheese and ginger peach jam. I was worried there would just be a small smear of jam but was pleasantly surprised to get a heaping mound of it, it was so yummy and paired so deliciously with the goat cheese and the turkey. I also tried the house made dilly beans and really loved those as a side instead of chips. The apricot beer was absolutely delicious as was the lawn mowing monk and several others I can’t remember the names of. Would definitely eat here again whenever we next stay in Bloomsburg!

Turkey Hill Brewing Company offers a less formal alternative to the famous fine dining restaurant of The Farmhouse at Turkey Hill. Here they brew their own beer, which is served in the Farmhouse as well. The menu is pub-oriented food such as burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, and various appetizers. I have personally sampled the ahi tuna appetizer, which is Delicious, as well as the brewpub pretzel logs, served with sweet and spicy mustard and beer cheese for dipping. The sandwiches are very good as well, with a Cuban, a Reuben, and a smoked BBQ brisket sandwich represented, just to name a few. The Cuban is very good. We also very much enjoyed the burnt end Mac and cheese dish, which is loaded with smoky BBQ flavor. Their selection of house-brewed beer is always pretty tasty and diverse as well. Prices are less than next door at the Inn, but still a bit dear. The barn in which the establishment is housed is very beautiful, and the service usually good as well, so one can excuse that. With its esteemed partner the Farmhouse, the pair forms an integral part of the Bloomsburg culinary landscape.

This place was absolutely phenomenal. Didn’t take long at all to receive our appetizer or drinks; our server came back to us just the right amount of times and was genuinely helpful and seemed like she enjoyed her job. The food was absolutely fantastic- I got the Duck with Thai Peanut ramen and my partner got the Wild Game burger (made of Bison), which we both shared. To drink, we had the peppermint chocolate stout and a glass of Merlot, which were both as lovely and refreshing as the food and service. Two entrees, two glasses of wine, two 10oz glasses of beer and an appetizer for less than $100 and we’ve spent similar amounts for dinner at say Applebees and I’m not equating the quality of service or consumables; the price was relatively similar but the Turkey Hill Brewing Co. was by far superior to that of Applebees, etc.

Went there for lunch with my husband and in-laws today. We got there just as they opened at noon. Our waitress brought our drinks after asking what we wanted (I don't remember her name) and then took a while to come back with our drinks. Quite a few people came in, and I noticed two waitresses and a waiter. I thought maybe they were short handed. I had questions about a salad, which she answered, and I made some changes, which were easy, just swapping blue cheese for cheddar, swapping mixed greens for the kale and spinach and simply changing dressing. We sat there and sat there and sat there some more. People ahead of us were getting food before us that came in after us. I beckoned the waitress over as she was having a personal conversation at the bar. I asked her when our food would be out, as others were getting theirs before we did. She said she'd check. She came back and said it'd be a few more minutes. Okay. So.....again, we sat and sat. I asked her again because it had been FIFTY minutes! It still was several minutes before she brought it out. And lo and behold, my salad had blue cheese all over it! My husband simply took the plate and handed it back to her. I told her to simply bring me a green salad at that point. I was a tad miffed as it had been a long time since we ordered. She brought the salad with apologies. The salad wasn't that great. My mother-in-law got the same salad. She barely ate half of it. As well, we were never asked if we wanted drink refills, and she came back to ask if everything was okay AFTER we were finished. My husband had to ask someone else to tell our waitress for our bill. She brought it over and said we were comped for my green salad, and they gave us a slight discount for the inconveniences. Nice? Maybe, but we didn't leave happy. My husband's and father-in-law's food was good. I don't know if the waitress was new? Unorganized? Too busy? Were they short staffed in the kitchen? No idea. My in-laws had been here two weeks ago with a party of six, and everything was fine. My husband and I went a few years ago, and it was good. We live out of town. You should never have to wait 50 minutes for food, then have it be wrong and get such poor service, especially in a more upscale place like this. The waitress was apologetic, and I appreciate that. However, it was just not a good experience.

Also, on th way out, my husband asked if Andrew still owned the place. The hostess, who looked about 16, said, Andrew who?" I said...PRUDEN! She said, "Oh, yeah, he still owns it." She seriously asked...Andrew who?...

I have been to the brewery several times now for dinner, and have enjoyed every trip. They have an ever-changing menu of craft beers to fit a variety of tastes. Last time in, I had the Red RyePA, which was a wonderful take on category. The nitrogen-charged porter appeals to the Guinness lovers. The barrel-aged brews are highly rated.

The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Seems like everyone around here goes to eat between 6-7 PM, and unsurprisingly the kitchen can get a little backed up during that time. If you are not in a hurry, no problem, but if you want faster service, best to arrive by 5:30 or after 7:30 to miss the rush.

All of our party liked the food. The menu has a large choice of appetizers to share while you are having drinks. The buffalo chicken dip is tasty, but a little thick for dipping with tortilla chips. I recommend that you ask for bread instead of tortillas with that. Nachos, pretzels, etc all delicious.

Several in our parties had salads, and all agreed they were very good. One in our party did suggest that, if ordering the Caesar salad, you may want to ask for the dressing on the side if you are watching your fats.

All who got the burgers said they were awesome, and are a solid choice here. You would think "How can you mess up a burger?", but surprisingly many restaurants do, often by overcooking the patty. My reuben was a very good example of the genre, and they did not skimp on the pastrami. Wraps, Ahi tuna tacos, and fried chicken were all crowd pleasers. Those who ordered the chicken pot pie said it was very delicious and creamy, although a little on the small side for a standalone entree, and is best ordered with a salad. The open face sirloin steak sandwich had a good flavor, although mine on this last trip seemed to be 25% gristle and hard to chew. I would probably just get the burger next time. They...

Stopped in quickly between work outings. Great vibe from first walking in. Awesome exposed wood beams, stone/brick fasciad wraps the brew pub walls. Beautiful wood bar, backed by glassware and small artfully done chalk boards addressing the available brews, showcasing original gravity, final gravity, abv, and IBU's.

About 10-12 brews on draft with a few hand pump cask offerings. Looks like they are pushing ipa's out with some styles similar to that of tired hands. I tried a quick taste of their wheat ipa and it had a bumble gumy flavor that quickly resembled that of a tired hands brew I had recalled months back.

The over all feal for a Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 was very laid back, as they only open at 4:00 and close around 11-12pm depending on the time of week(weekdays). Music selection in the background is very satisfying. Listening to Benny and the Jets while downing a hand pumped Cask IPA to some fresh homemade pirogi's seems like the perfect happy hour escape or late Friday evening tradition after classes since Bloomsburg university is a mere stones throw from the 4-year old brewpub.

This is definitely a place to visit if in the area. Nate was manning the bar and was very easy to talk to and answered questions about the beers very knowledgeably. If you're not game of taking in some classics while drinking beer and conversing with friends or regulars, 2 lcd's are mounted eye level on the top back of the bars.

Food was delicious and beer with a nice 2-fingers worth of frothy head would call me back at any time. They also seem to be working on a sour program. Also a stout to be released aging in...
