Wow. This truly charming establishment truly embodies everything that makes a great coffee & breakfast spot, from its unique building and comfortable atmosphere to its exceptional food and drink offerings. From the moment you walk into The Coffee Depot, you are greeted by a warm and inviting space that is sure to put you at ease. The decor is both rustic and unique, with interesting touches like vintage signs, exposed brick walls, beautiful wooden interior, and miscellaneous antiques that add deep character to the space. The overall aura of the coffee shop is simply amazing, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment for everyone. Now let's talk about the food - it is simply phenomenal! The eggs, bacon, sausage, and boudin are cooked to perfection and burst with flavor in every bite. The beignets are outstanding, with a light and fluffy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. But it's not just the food that makes The Coffee Depot stand out - the coffee is top-notch as well. Whether you prefer a classic latte or something a little more unique, the baristas at The Coffee Depot are masters of their craft and will create the perfect drink to satisfy your taste buds. Overall, I cannot recommend The Coffee Depot highly enough. If you find yourself in Scott, LA, be sure to make a stop here and experience the amazing food, drink, and atmosphere for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

First time eating here and I felt compelled to share my long list of disappointment ls: First cup of coffee came with red lipstick on my cup (not cleaned well). My replacement cup came with “warm” coffee, so I felt bad and asked for them to please heat it up. Now to the food: the one positive: the eggs were great. The bacon tasted awful to both me and my daughter. Not sure if it was spoiled or not, but it did not taste like any bacon I’ve had in my life. It left a bad aftertaste as well ( I love bacon by the way) The grits also tasted awful and weird… how do you mess up grits? Also, the loud horn that they sound (I’m assuming for tips) is very jolting when you’re not expecting random loud noises. I will not be returning and don’t recommend this place. Far sub-par to both Mel’s Diner and Hub City Diner.

This is the cutest little breakfast place in Scott! Train themed decor everywhere, a little choo choose bell every time and order is up, a lot of food options at really good prices. My husband and I ordered a few things and shared. The pancakes were huge! The beignets were awesome. My only MINOR preference complaint is the grits and eggs didn't have any season on them. This could be great for those watching calories, cholesterol, or sodium though. We added salt and pepper, but I would have liked real butter for the grits instead of vegetable oil spread, that adds no flavor for me. The bacon was the BEST, sausage was good, and we loved the chopped up sausage in the white gravy. The frozen coffee was really good as well!

Today we came into the coffee depot in Scott about 1:30p. Whelp...we did not have a good experience. We have been here a hand full of times and they have been great but today was not one of those days. With our waiter who only has us and 1 other table, he gives us the wrong drinks then forgets to put in our appetizer after we check about it 20 min later. He then proceeds to give me my bananas foster but never brings out my husband's food. After I started eating and about 15 min passed, we ask him about my husband's meal and he said he would go check. After almost being done with my meal and still waiting on my husband's food, my husband cancels his order and ask for the ticket. After about another 10 min of waiting for our bill, the waiter not only charges us for my husband's meal we NEVER recieved but has an attitude when we bring it up. He did not apologize but he still charged us for the terrible service and food. They need to check who they hire. I use to be a waitress and handling two tables is SUPER easy and simple apologies go a long way when you...

Why can't the owners be more understanding that therr are other businesses that were there long before they were, but yet they have no consideration for the other business. They can ask and let the other place have some parking. I have been going to Dons Barbershop for over 12 years and i go on Every Saturday as its the only day i can,and i always have to walk to go to the Barber because Yhe Depot allows its patrons to park wherever and though myself and many others have asked them to consider Dons Barbershop customers they shrugg there shoulders and could carless. As a Business owner myself i find this unethical and just down right disrespectful. Maybe Dons Barbershop should have all its Patrons come in all and park all over the Parking lot so thats the depits customers ahould have to walk and see how many people would still go to eat there food when they have to walk.

Maybe we ought to.start blocking in until we sre done getting hair cuts. There has to...
