Shop somewhere else
"Open 24 hours" I come here and the guy at the register was some shaggy lookin dude who just finishing talking and laughing with his coworkers or friends. He turns to me makes some nervous erratic movements and stutters then tells me he can't ring my one box of food and to wait 15 minutes for the registers to do like a "system thing". I worked retail and it was the worst excuse to not do a job I've seen, he needs to up his game.
I say it's some weird customer trolling because my brother was there a little bit before me and said they made him and the guy in front of him wait too, making comedically bad excuses to make customers wait like smash tapping the screen repeatedly, he only managed to get his food because he had time to spare but it sounded like they were in a competition for how bad they can inconvenience customers.
The aisles I saw were scattered with open boxes too, no stockers, just a bunch of open boxes of food to navigate, if someone was using a push cart or a disabled person wanted to shop, it would be needlessly difficult. Very odd but somehow not the worst thing.
Change it from 24 hours or get competent people; I'm starving here prob just gonna five finger discount next time or throw adequate money at the guy pretending to work there. For legal reasons, that's a joke. I'd bet money they be stealing anyways tho, the store gave that atmosphere. It was in such an oddly poor shape.
Kinda disappointed, I had to leave hungry
Lol wait did that guy even work there? He just wore a grey shirt, looked kinda unkempt, no clear uniform Only register open btw, like I feel like I missed a hint to just walk out...
Read moreI am not going to give 1 star even though it is tempting, but I go to this location because the Felton one is worse. I am immune compromised because of the medications I am one, I rely heavily on curbside because I need to avoid crowds as much as possible to avoid getting sick. I was highly disappointed in my experience today with my order. I had a notification that 3 of my items were out of stock. Bread, toilet paper and the crab cakes. Now the crab cakes I understand because they were on sale but the bread and tp, I had a hard time believing. I asked the bread to be substituted and suddenly the original bread was available. Since I was driving, I couldnât respond to the other missing items. I go into the store myself and right where it is supposed to be is the TP I wanted. I bring it up front, very mad at this point and ask them to make sure it is with my order. I go back out to my car, and wait. The man bringing me the order still didnât have the TP with him. I shouldnât have to go into the store and double check for items. This is awful customer service, I need this accommodation due to my disability and this is highly unacceptable. I feel like they are marking things unavailable to on purpose to hurry orders. If youâre that short staffed that employees feel pressured to cut corners, shame on you Safeway. Reduced the availability in pick up time slots to match...
Read moreI just came from here and while in the self checkout line, an employee asked if I wanted to take a survey. I said sure. She proceeded to take the survey on my checkout screen on my behalf, without my consent, and of course left high marks across the board. I said I didnât consent and that the action was really rude, and I got a very rude response. I was duped by this woman. I then said she should apologize and she said she did (news flash: she didnât at all, and was just rude). Then when I spoke to the manager Josh Taylor about it and explained that what they are doing is fraud, he was clearly encouraging the behavior. I plan to call the store director but my hunch is that he (Erik Gamotan) is aware of the fraud. Personally all my surveys there will be 0 for the foreseeable future. Zero points for this visit, their outright fraud, both when seeking permission from me to take the survey by framing as if I were going to take a survey, and then filling out the survey themselves giving the store glowing reviews they clearly must need. Why else would they be...
