Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Scottsboro

TERRIBLE!!! I love Sonic, and I have been to many in multiple different states and towns. This is by far the WORSE one I have ever been too!!! 1st off- We went through drive through after placing our order, there were only 2 girls who were actually trying to do their job and the guys in the background looked like they were just sitting around. 2nd off- They were not professional, did not keep track of the orders at all. They opened the window and asked us about 4 times if that was our order, when it wasn't. 3rd- There was a long line of cars behind us, about 6+ cars. It should not have taken us over 15 minutes sitting there to get our food... The people who were working were not organized and had no idea who's order was who's and I saw one girl throw money around like she was playing around. (NOT PROFESSIONAL) 4th- We were sitting in the car with 2 children, one 18 month old and an older child.. no A/C so waiting that long for food was outrageous. I kept telling my husband to just drive off somewhere else but he wanted to wait. 5th- The onion rings were old and nasty, tasted terrible. The food was terrible, so you could tell all the workers were slacking including the cooks. I had never had such a bad experience at a sonic in my life, and I refuse to ever go back to the Scottsboro Sonic Drive in! Everything was ridiculous, unorganized, unprofessional... How they got a score of 95 is BEYOND ME! Please get some management, organization, and...

Overall was quite a bad experience. Previous encounters with this drive-in was quite good, though post-Pandemic I think this place has lost both quality and good management or training. We drove into a slot with a broken screen, which wasn't able to show our order nor allow us to pay for the food (which was our fault considering that there were a couple of other parking spots open to chose from), and caused further problems after eating our meals. After we ordered we received our orders in about 5-8 minutes. The food's quality reported by my colleagues wasn't very good. The cherry limeade, one of our favorites, was unfortunately of a mediocre taste compared to previous orderings from here. When we had to give one of the servers the payer's credit card, she held on to it for a while before giving it back when we had to call to other employees to request her appearance. When she gave it back she snapped back at my colleague saying that she was going to give it back, when it had already been a solid 12-20 minutes. Speakers don't work well, not friendly service, no one smiled manager was rude.

Ordered a number 11 and 2 milkshakes. The milkshakes were ice cream. When I asked the car hop to take them back and bring some we could drink though a straw after they hadn't melted while we ate all our food. Some boy comes out (manager maybe) and tells me thier milkshake machine is broke??? (I have worked at 3 sonics, all had ice cream machines, milk pumps, and mixers) So I basically told him I knew he was lying and I didn't want excuses or lies just a drinkable shake. He continues to lie and argue? Over something so stupid? So now I'm there 20 minutes and still no drink. Finally he goes in remakes my shakes and guess what...they are MILKSHAKE!! I CAN DRINK IT! But he is still standing by window telling me he wasn't lying....(go away now)

Anyway, lost my business.

Oh, and the fries were cold and old when I got them but we ate them anyway because usually I don't complain. But he lied....
