Imagine this beautiful park, but the leaves have all fallen, a crisp autumn breeze is in the air...and there are medieval knights and maidens and Fae all over! I'll be set up at the #scottsbororenfaire this November and I can't wait to see you there! #renfaire #renaissancefestival #scottsboroalabama #northalabama

There used to be so much more here. I am told that the city is working to add more again. There used to be restrooms that were always open and available. There used to be so much more playground stuff to play on that was wood, not metal. When I say "used to be," I am referring to probably 20 years ago. I haven't been in this park in that long. There is still a nice walking trail that is shaded, and evidence of some kind of work being done here. I can't wait to see what they are working on!

Absolutely beautiful little place. There is a wonderful thick canopy of trees that shade the walking path, slides, swings and other equipment for children to play on. Clean restrooms conveniently located. A pavilion and many picnic tables excellent place for a bag lunch.

I took my lunch I had just purchased at a nearby Taco Bell to Caldwell Park to eat while soaking up the serene energy I feel there. The park offers a little piece of quietude because it blocks the sounds of traffic, ongoing construction, etc. I was aware only of the chatter of the squirrels and the tweeter of birds. It was very relaxing, clear of litter, and natural, meaning not a lot of concrete and metal stuff. It's tall trees, a walking path, an occasional runner, and sometimes children playing on the small playground. I try to go there when kids...

Did not see any restrooms. Were some parked heavy equipment. Apparently removing some trees as I saw logs stacked near the parked equipment. Cute "locomotive" with places for children to sit, or possibly to stand located near covered picnic area. Sign up with phone number to reserve area if neccessary. Walking trails are paved. Paved...
