June 18, 2025 back again!
Just a few weeks later, and I couldn’t stay away. Well the truth is, it had been a really awful day, and I did not want to cook!! So, a favorite local choice to the rescue! Pinnacle Grille always pulls me back in with that perfect combo of local charm, great food, and unforgettable people.
This time, it was all about cocktails and comfort. My lemon drop martini arrived in an ice-cold glass with a sugared rim—and bonus points for bringing the shaker to the table so I could top it off myself. It’s such a little thing, but it makes the whole experience feel a little more special. A little fancy, you know! We also ordered a reposado tequila old fashioned, and let me tell you, it was stunning—big gentleman’s cube, dark cherries, chunk of fresh orange, just the right amount of smoky and sweet. Well done, Jackson! Thank you for consistently delivering one of the best reposado tequila old fashions in town!
For supper, I went all-in on the personal recommendation from Erik, who we've enjoyed having several times as our waiter, and he suggested the Steak Gorgonzola Pasta. Yep, he was right! It was a perfectly grilled bistro steak over Cajun Alfredo, topped with cherry tomatoes, and a little balsamic drizzle for that tangy kick. It was rich, decadent, and completely worth it. Carbs and steak...a perfect pair!
And because the day had been way too stressful dessert was screaming my name so, we split the Chocolate Lava Cake. Warm, gooey chocolate with that melty center, plus a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Total heaven.
Honestly? Pinnacle Grille just keeps winning me over. The staff, the food, the drinks—they’ve created something really special here. A true neighborhood favorite that never feels ordinary.
May 28, 2025 visit to a local gem!
Pinnacle Grille is one of those places that makes you wonder why more people aren’t raving about it and why on earth it isn't packed out every night! Honestly, it’s such a hidden gem—and I mean that in the best way. From the second you walk in, the staff make you feel like you’re part of the family. I’ve been several times now, and they always remember us. Not just our names, but drink orders, allergies, favorite meals—you name it.
Dawn, the manager, is pure sunshine. Glamorous, funny, professional, and genuinely warm. You can feel how much the staff respects her—several have told us they work there because of Dawn. And it shows. The vibe she creates just radiates through the whole place.
The bar? A total highlight. Jackson (wild hair, wild personality) is straight out of “Cheers.” He remembers what you drink and how you like it—before you even ask. Leon keeps things moving fast and friendly with the best laugh and killer bartending skills. And when you are looking for a wine recommendation, just ask for Erik! He is definitely a wine enthusiast and happy to make a suggestion or two!
For supper, I went classic with the All-American cheeseburger and onion rings. I always love a crispy onion ring! Perfectly done. My girlfriend tried the All-American burger with a gluten-free bun (thank you Erik for remembering the gluten allergy from a previous visit before it was even mentioned during this dinner) with steak fries, others in our party had the spaghetti bolognese with garlic toast (hearty and flavorful), and the club sandwich with a side of chili. And not just any chili—this one was topped with fresh jalapeños because my spice-loving friend isn’t messing around and is always looking for the extra punch.
We laughed, we hung out way too long, we left full and happy. This is such a great spot for dinner out with friends without breaking the bank! Pinnacle Grille? It's local love at its finest. We will...
Read moreOK, so the food was good. The staff were great, albeit a bit frazzled last night. Boys' golf trip. Arrived 10 minutes before our Open Table reservation on a Saturday night. Booked the man dining room. " Sorry, no tables in the dining room. " You can eat outside or in the Bar" My buddy, who will only drink Jamieson, orders his drink. Kid comes back 5 minutes later. "Sorry, no Jamieson." "Any Irish?" "Let me check" Sorry," "Any single malt?" "Let me check" He finally got a Glenlivet. Food order. Same guy wants a pork cutlet. Kid comes back 5 minutes later. "Sorry, there are no cutlets tonight, just ran out" For me, ordered a Lobster Bisque. Five minutes later, Sorry no Bisque tonight ". Eventually, one guy gets a soup. When he is finished, we ask the waiter where the fourth guy's shrimp cocktail is. "Oh, yeah, coming right up." It arrived one hour after we sat down. Now, the manager is lovely. She came over with a smile. We are hysterical by this time. We explain, No table, no Irish, no Bisque, no shrimp. She says they didn't even have Bisque on the list that night. Offers us a desert, another scotch for my buddy and fillups of our sodas. Generally free anyhow? Rarely have we had a night where nothing went right and we walked away laughing without being blind drunk. We'll still be...
Read moreGood food, but long wait for it. I sat down with 3 friends at lunchtime on the outside patio. It was only half-full out there and we were all given waters fairly quickly. It took 10 more minutes before someone came by and asked what we wanted to drink. One of us ordered coffee. It then took 10 more minutes before someone came back to take our food orders. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive and the coffee finally arrived with the food. Water was never refilled and the check arrived another 15 minutes after we finished eating. No one came to pick up the check so we had to take it inside and hand it to the hostess. The wait was so discouraging that it took away from the fact that the food was pretty good. I had a chicken wrap and Caesar salad. The server was polite when he came around but unfortunately it was not very often. I think they were likely understaffed so the service is probably just a reflection of management decisions or maybe an unfortunate day when everyone called-in sick. I would not come here again since there are other options in the neighborhood with faster service...but hey, this could have just been an...
