It appears my first review this morning was removed because I used the abbreviation for "What the *" But seriously, I don't know what else to say to the awful service this place gives. From the first week they opened to today, every time I've stopped here I have had a bad experience with the order takers. They interrupt, they don't actually listen and repeat back your menu items incorrectly. Then interrupt you as you're correcting the order. Every single time! This morning I said "I'd like a Greek salad with chicken" he interrupts "a Greek salad with tofu" me, "no, I said" interrupts "anything else" "with chicken" pause, "what was it you wanted again, tofu, chicken, I can't do both". It's this nonsense every time, and it's always new people working, so it's not limited to one particular employee. And I've gone weeks without coming here and hope that hey maybe this time they'll have better employees. But nope, it is a continuously disappointing experience. Unfortunately this is the only Salad and Go in the area. The locations by my work in uptown are excellent, the one in the PV area is great, the one off Scottsdale Rd and Thunderbird is great, I don't know why this one is so awful other than poor ownership/management, bad training and lower standards. Not only do I always have an issue with the order takers, all the other visits I've had issues such as ridiculously long lines because they're understaffed during morning rush, they forget items in your order and they are unfriendly. This is my last visit at this location. Salad and Go is an excellent option in fast food, but this one is...
Read moreI ordered my meal and when repeated back to me, Michael said chicken after I said steak. No big deal. I corrected him and was told my total would be given at the window. I paid got my bag by the handle and started driving away when I realized he gave me a salad and not the wrap I ordered. Somebody was behind me so I had to drive through the pickup window. I was hoping he could put the salad in a wrap and I could be on my way. Michael rudely rolled his eyes and said “I asked you if your order was correct”. I was dumbfounded sitting in my vehicle thinking “did he really just say that. I said I just want my money back because at this point o didn’t trust him to not spit in my food or something. I drove away and came back and asked to speak to a manager and he said he was the manager. The way this young kid talks to customers is ridiculous and he should not be allowed to interact with customers. Seems like an entitled punk with an attitude problem. This was the 87th st location...
Read moreI normally do not write reviews good or bad but after yesterday’s experience I thought I should. I will take this down in 30 days since I do love this place but the owner should know what happened. I got to the drive through at 7:27. They open at 7:30 so I just waited there patiently. Then after a couple of minutes a young lady comes over the speaker and says, “Please do not sit in the drive thru lane before we are open.” Caught me off guard a bit but I simply say, “Ok…”. She takes my order and I drive up to pick it up and pay. The young girl wearing a Metallica shirt would not even make eye contact with me. Acted as if her whole day was completely ruined??!! Probably not the best way to conduct yourself. If someone being in the drive thru line 3 minutes before you open gets you that worked up it might be time to find a less...
